Justin sounds so chill and awesome!!! Amazing bassist. Saw Tool live 3 weeks ago and it was AWESOME!!! No f'n cell phones. The audience area was pitch black as it should be. You could hate on MJK all you want. He is 100% correct. Love the the fact that the no cell phone rule was enforced. DJ gig??!! I would love to go to that!!! Cannot wait to see them again.

Agreed. Such a down to earth guy. So many characters in that band.

The no cell phone policy is absolutely amazing. First concert I went to with that was King Crimson at the Sony theater in NYC. It’s the greatest thing an audience member can ask for!

Imagine going to an audition with the riff for 46 & 2... It's like applying for a job to Walmart with a Ph.D. thesis. I'm not comparing Tool with Walmart, but I'm just saying imagine that... wow!

21:45 Tool only have superfans. Believe me there's a legion of us that would want to hear the parts that didn't make the final cut or that later morphed into something entirely different to how they began. Release them!!

Justin's sound has become so essential to the overall sound that tool creates. And we cant overlook his contribution that him playing "Rick" in the Walking Dead contributes to the overall story. This dude's irreplaceable on so many levels.

I came to Tool in my 60s and my first album was FI. I then worked back but in no order at all, just wherever I caught one on KZbin. A Yes fan of 45 years and a total Yes geek but I am loving what Tool do, not just the music but artwork, stage shows and the whole vibe. Nice to get excited about a band that are full of exceptional people. I haven't seen you yet so want to do that. Dave England UK

I just saw Tool on the 1st and outside of Danny and the occasional glance at Adam and Maynard, I couldn't take my eyes off Justin. True showman. His peaceful arms out poses during atmospheric sections and his absolutely hilarious hip thrusting.

I'm old and have seen Tool live quite a few times now. I always stand (when its GA) to the front right, where Justin is. He is so energetic, he will interact with the crowd and watching him bust out full guitar riffs on his bass is something else. The dude is a beast!
@jeffbone8475 Жыл бұрын
When you see Tool live it becomes very apparent how important Justin is to the band. He is so unsung as a bass player it's criminal. If Dany Carey is your drummer you need a bass player with otherworldly ability...Justin is a beast.

Very interesting behind the scenes look. I think these guys work because they know it is work but still creative. Every young musician wants to have success but I don't really think they spend that much time understanding the corporate bs with record labels, the grind of recording and getting it right. Far too many are simply enamored with the look, the cool gear but barely learn to use it to it's potential. Not to mention the personality issues with band and producers.

If i have money saved up for one, i would definitely buy one and not just for Justin's sound (despite it's huge part in wanting one). Base price for a Mk2 is 6350, since i'm already paying lots of money, i might as well pay extra 350 for the quilted maple facing and clear gloss. That's the prettiest design i've seen on a Wal, even a bass as a whole. If i also manage to go to the states for a little while and see them live, i would definitely try to see Justin after the show and have him sign it. One can only dream, though...
