I was in Columbus wearing his bears jersey. Me and my family went out to eat at this popular restaurant all the OSU kids go to. Guess who’s inside. QB1! Everyone pulled me aside telling me”yo man fields is inside you should go talk to him” I was so nervous but the moment I stepped inside I glanced over to my right and I saw him and he saw me in his jersey and thankfully the waitress had a sharpie. Justin signed my jersey we dapped eachother up he was so damn cool. I told him “you’re the future bro you’re gonna break every franchise record within a couple years I promise you” he’s like “you know imma do it my brotha” it was an honor to meet him and a cool ass experience I’ll always remember

I was always a Buckeye and Cowboys fan, we used to clown him about his Bears especially in the early 90's when my Cowboys were on top. I tell you what…I heard people talking about how he didn’t look happy on draft day. I think people misunderstand his focus and take it as a lack of enthusiasm. I saw all the other first round QBs besides him smiling. I think he’s the only QB in this class who is a stone cold killer and mentally prepared for the grind. We’ll see if his mentors and coaches are the right fit, but I think the sky is the limit. 🐻 ⬇️

Kirby Smart was dumb to drive him away especially when he was more talented, but I'm really happy for him that everything worked out at OSU and now he is a Bear. I’ve never been so confident in a Bears prospect more than Justin Fields. Kid is a legit stud and he’s got the “It” factor. Elite physical athlete, great arm, tough as nails, intelligent, comes from a good strong family, great work ethic and a natural leader. He’s coming into a a way better situation than Mitch too in regards to the talent on the roster and staff… We finally got us one… The Chicago Bears got the player that’s pissed because he fell in the draft and was drafted after players that should have no business flying up the draft boards past him like Lance and Wilson… I’m excited

I’m an Ohio native and life long Bucks fan. I can say what an absolute gift it was to watch Justin Fields for 2 years lead the Buckeyes, in my opinion one of the best ever QB1’s for the Bucks. Tough as nails, heart of a lion, talent beyond comprehension, and one of the best long ball accuracy passers that played CFB. I’m excited to see what he will do for the Chicago Bears and will definitely be watching any televised Bears game. A true talent and a class act!

I hear him talk about playing on a big stage & I do believe hes on the biggest franchise stage in Football. All of NY, CALIFORNIA, & TEXAS may technically have bigger markets than Chicago, but unlike those markets Chicagos market ISNT divided up among multiple franchises. No matter how har the NFL may try to promote costal teams, Football has never been and will never be a coastal game. Football IS a Midwestern religion and Chicago is the MECCA. I dont think a lot of people fully grasp how wildly popular and marketable this franchise really is and can become with some winning ways added to the equation. I know this for a fact because I have seen it for a fact and so has anyone who witnessed the 1985 Bears. That team took the whole nation by storm and every class of citizen was behind them be it the upper, middle or lower class, the celebrity, political, and WORKING class, the high class, the low class the no class, you name it they were backing that Bears team. They are ratings gold for the league, they just need to WIN(fairly). You can market this franchise any way you want for HUGE ratings. You can market them as the underdog, the favorite or as the villain or the hero. If Fields can take this franchise where it needs to be in the standings, Im telling you this franchise will explode. Honestly have any of you EVER heard anyone say anything like "Oh man, if I could just make it in a town like Dallas or Green Bay?.......Me neither.

The switch from college QB to pros is massive. I would much, much rather have him sit a year and learn, then be great the next twelve years, than throw him into the fire and have him develop bad habits and lower his ceiling.
