They're friends , Joe might be willing to restructure his deal and Chase n JJ tie for the most AAV with the exact same 3 year $100 million extensions keeping jj in Cincy the next 4 years and Chase the next 5 with BOTH hitting the market again to cash in !!! The off-season for the Vikings isn't going how they expected? Actually it's going much better than they expected. In addition to the quality free agents they've already brought in, they resigned players from within and most notably, they let somebody else massively overpay for Kirk Cousins. Now they are most assured to be in position to select their QB of the future in the 1st round. I think they'll get a deal done with Jefferson shortly after the draft. Even if they end up trading him, they'll receive the bounty of all bounties for him, and they have Jordan Addison & Hockenson to build around. Aaron Jones can catch out of the backfield as well. So I think the Vikings off-season is going extremely well so far!

As a vikings fan i think it would make sense for us to trade him. Wed get at least a 1st and a 2nd for him. Theres no point in being mediocre and best case we finish 9-8 maybe 10-7 next year with an early playoff exit. Thats the worst thing that can happen to a franchise in the nfl.
