After a mere 7 months, we hit just over 2,000 views! That's incredible! I know most of you, just like myself, watch much larger channels. I'm not one of those channels. Thank you all, and leave a comment on what other boot youd like to see.

It’s just breaking them in man. They are pretty easy compared to a lot of other boots and working the leather a lot with your hands helps out a ton. I’ve been buying these same pare of boots for 10 years. They are beat $100 I’ve ever spent. They souls generally last me about 2 in a half years as long as I maintain the leather. As far as the tongue issue, I was able to fix it with a different style of lacing. I’ve done welding, fabricating, worked in machine shops, construction, worn them in mud, rain and snow and they have never failed me.

I have a pair of handme down justin round toe 8inch lace up conductors. And best boots i have ever worn. I resoled them with Goodyear soles. When they cant be soled again i will get those or a new conductor again.

Are they kick-around boots, or are they your work boots?

I just got some Irish Setter Marshall's but in the lace up model. I'm right in between 8 and 8.5 so i also have them a little long right now but I'm also underweight compared to my normal. I also hear this is normal for Square Toe Steel Toe boots, and it's important to get an orthotic anyways- so get something chunky and you can even get a little toe insert. Look into it. These are extremely similar to the Marshalls, and I think the square toe is one of the most under-rated and oberlooked styles in boot fashion. Moc toe this, moc toe that, I have gotten more compliments on these in a month than I ever did with my technical hiking boot Danners. As you said, theyre simply sharp, and can even bit of a confidence statement. They call em shit kickers for another reason...

Thanks for the video. Been searching for the right boot for a while and I think these are the ones.

The key advice I have, is to try them on before you buy. I'm glad this video helped. Thank you for the comment. Now, get out there and kick some shit!

What size do you wear normally and what size are the justins? Also how do they hold up in wet conditions? Fairly water resistent?

I’m looking for a Justin Jmax boot that looks similar has that little edged flap at the base of the tongue (I don’t know the damn name) July uncle has the 440 style but when I look it up it doesn’t have that flap it’s just the boot and a headache haha
@hbj01233 жыл бұрын
Some of the Justin boots have been discontinued. Kind of a bummer, but understandable if they don't sell. It seems like a theme I've been running into. Whenever, I find a pair I love, they're not in stock, or they're not made anymore. Thanks for checking out the channel. I wish you luck on your search for that one pair of boots you'll hate taking off.

Is your boot made in China? Because I went to Cavender’s to try on some and they had some made in China and Bangladesh..
@hbj01234 жыл бұрын
I honestly don't know. I'm looking at the original box, and it has no indication of where they were made, and all of the original tags are wore slap out. I'm pretty sure their higher end boots are made here, of international parts...

Did you keep the original insole or buy another?

I still have the original insoles in the boots. They're plenty comfortable.

Dude, it’s just about wearing them around for a few weeks to beak them in.

That's generally what I do. My Carolina's were the right size out the gate but they were a completely different style altogether. So they took some getting used to. Admittedly, I think the Justin's were the wrong size.

It’s called breaking them in.

Thanks Bruce, I got into "better" boots about 3 years ago, and this is a documentation of my experience. Have you ever fought a new pair of boots?

I’m going to order a pair. I wear a 12, do you think it’s safe to order a 12? Do they run small in your opinion?
@hbj01234 жыл бұрын
In my experience, they run long, and tight. But that's my experience. All feet are not made equal. Your best bet is to find a store and try a few pairs on.
