Unfortunately, the Japanese factories don't want them anymore, so you won't see the top guys signed to those smoker contracts. I bet Pro Circuit would have a lot of fun if they let 250 smokers race against 250 4-strokes, though.

Ktm has really did a good job at bridging the gap for 2 strokes lot easier to ride but still not as easy as a fourstroke my knee is so blown out i cant even use a kickstarter anymore !

I truly don’t understand why National Caliber Privateer riders that consistently finish in the 15th-40th place don’t just say F-it to the Factory Teams and do their own unofficial Smoker Nationals! Riders need to face reality and realize if you’re a sub Top Ten Finisher you’re never going to get that Factory Ride! In Supercross I understand it’s a 4-Puke World, but for the Nationals grab the Smoker and have fun racing!
