FYI, the game DOES hold up. The gameplay is surprisingly awesome, if basic, and the humor is top notch, if you like Rick and Morty. It lacks some burping, though. You will NOT regret the purchase.

In order for VR to truly take off they need to make games people love on all the VR platforms, because if they keep making platform exclusive games they alienate people and push them to stop spending money on VR and therefor VR cant get better or cheaper, or advance. Its a shame.

I really love the idea of building the experience around VR hardware. Movement systems are usually clunky and awkward in VR, but almost playing yourself interacting with other characters would be so much more immersive.

i bought in on Steam played on the HTC VIVE with Xbox controllers. I finished the game but not the expansion yet. I've been playing VR or at least 2 years. Half-life Alyex is defiantly the best game but this one is really great too. Gameplay is more like a traditional 3d platformer but with the mixup and the story will make you fall down laughing. I would give it a 9 out of 10.

That's a technical limitation that can't be solved for the moment. They just have to find ingenious ways to adapt, like Capcom did with the doors during the loading in the first Resident Evil games. "Loading screens brings suspense and tension". So simple and efficient.
