What golf was begging for: yet another private course with a $250k initiation fee and $25k annual cost. I wish the developers luck when the music stops.

Yeah, that makes no sense to me, even if I was a multi multi multi millionaire. I wouldn’t pay that to one place when I could use that money, to travel all over the world, and play all of the best courses unless it was maybe Augusta.

@@brianlewis5970 until you got tired of traveling and/or got old. It's also nice to have a place that knows you and takes care of your golf needs on a daily basis. You meet friends, and all you have to do is get dressed and drive your golf cart to the first tee. Convenience and comfortability are also components that most people gravitate towards. And you can still travel the world and play the best courses anyway.

I’ll never play at this course either. But there is nothing wrong with people wanted to spend their money at clubs like these or on projects like these. People need to stop being angry at everything. Even if you play all your golf at public courses, there is someone out there who thinks you are an entitled prick just because you play golf at all. Your life will be a lot better when you stop seeing videos like this And being mad or jealous.

People weren’t complaining about the Grove 23 but now you want to complain about the GOAT of golf designing and building another course? Jack has courses of every level all over the world to play if you want to play one for your level of affluence. This course was built to suit the professional golfers of the area and the elite wealthy families. This is a dime a dozen, and is a necessary evil to maintain exclusivity and luxury. 500,000 is nothing to large corporations or billionaire individuals when they will write off all of it and the expenses associated with entertaining clientele or business associates there. I can’t afford a Ferrari or Lamborghini, in fact I wouldn’t buy one if I could, but I still think they are beautiful. I don’t see one and say oh wow what a waste of metal and rubber!

Because of his golf accomplishments, his philanthropy, and 60 years around the game we love. Not everyone attaches their identity to their political party. I had no idea he supported Trump, and don't care. Would be stoked to run into him anywhere and shake his hand.
