he didn't. his music was critically and commercially acclaimed. he got great producers and was in one of the best boybands of all time. he had a career before britney, she was an opening act for his band, oh please. he dated other women and their careers didn't go down. Their both victims to the pressure and the burden of fame, 2 young people who made their mistakes and due to impulsivity on both parties the damage that has been done was unmendable. No one knows their true story only the ones the publicists created that the audience would eat up.
