I loved this kid. Just wanted to take him home, feed him and let him sleep in my son’s room. He chased peace so hard. 💔

Thank you for sharing your pain with us. I connect in a way you will never understand. You past way too soon. I hope you found the peace you needed. I am finding it thru your music.

JTE's worst is better than Steve Earle's best. Fucking tragic we lost this gem.

@@BKRockwell I tend to agree. Steve is a good writer, but Justin was at bare minimum his equal. He also had a better voice, and was by far the better guitar player. Steve himself has confirmed the last two. It's a huge loss to music, and I'm gutted we can't hear what Justin would be writing about in his 40's and 50's. I know it would have been great...

I hate to compare them...young steves melodies are really strong but justin seems designed (over all) to go a little deeper...not many heroes of his generation that I know of and he's one of greatest ever ..

8 years .. time flies. Well probably quirky cute looks. But what stage presence and i don't even like country music but for some of his and a few others singers. This is not really a country song, is it?, so it's accessible to me and it's great.

I love EVERYTHING this young man has written...my gosh his lyrics are so intense so very full of the knowing, he can bring me to tears, because he relates so well with the condition of being human. I love you Justin Townes Earle!

That's art. Some of it will reduce you to tears and have no affect on others. I'm retired and have enjoyed and played music my entire life. Justin was one of the most gifted singer/songwriters I've ever heard.
