certainly different from SE. I love how he played roots music in a way totally different from his Dad and TVZ. Though lone pine hill to me sounds like it could have been from any of the 3 of them. His talent took him to his own unique place beyond 2 namesakes. I am going to miss him dearly and am thankful for all of the music and stories he shared...RIP JTE💗

Interesting, so I think he was saying this song is about telling the wrong thing to someone you love when they're telling you the world is coming down around them. He gave her maybe a hard truth, but wasn't what he should have said in her despair, and drove her away.
@brazenlilhussy59752 жыл бұрын
I think he told her the right thing..but that's not what she wanted to hear at that time..I believe Anna was still in the denial stage and wasn't ready for cold hard truth.. 'it's YOU who needs to change'..but that's what's great about great lyricists they're always open to interpretation.

Anybody know the guitar make/model?
@thiscorrosion9004 жыл бұрын
Can't even make it out, but it might be a Guild or Martin with a new neck put on, not even sure. A dark mahogany type parlor style guitar.

Does anyone else hear a slight resemblence vocally to Rufus Wainright
@smwrbd4 жыл бұрын
Absolutely. I thought that from the first song I heard by JTE . It's in the richness and effort utilized to produce that vocal range.
