Fun fact: all of the dragons are girls. During the quest where you have to pick up the Goddess Statue in the forgotten temple, they say “she” for all of the three elemental dragons (this also makes sense if you think about their namesakes being the Golden Goddesses)

Fusing an elemental horn (Gleeok, Lizalfos, or Dragon) to an Eightfold Longblade gives the wind beam an elemental effect. This makes Gibdos a lot easier to defeat. Edit: I never knew bombs worked to destroy Gibdo hives!

Something I noticed with all three elemental outfits is this it paints Link's Nails, For the Ember one LInk has Red, Charged is Yellow, and Frostbite is Blue, I don't know why yet it makes me happy.

So you know, when the gleeoks fly out of "Keese auto-aim range" (AKA when they fly to make their super attack), they all give a way to get super high and shoot him : Flame gleeok : The giant fireball creates a huge updraft Frost gleeok : The icicles can be recalled to shoot the eyes Thunder gleeok : the lightning strikes leave small but powerful updrafts King gleeok : chaotic combination of all 3

For king gleeoks, I suggest using the thunder gleeok method. There's too much chaos to properly ride the icicles up and it'll only shoot a smaller fireball as a defensive maneuver once you're up

Fun fact. Multishot bows are very useful for king gleeoks. Use a duplex bow and a strong fusion mat and you can one shot the heads. So only takes three arrows instead of six.

The Weather Attack effects do not increase physical weapon damage. They add an elemental AoE to combo finishers and charge attacks, which increases in size with higher effect levels and has a bonus elemental damage of 5, regardless of level. The Weather Charge set bonus just gives you Quick Charge when active.

Started watching your videos and love them. Noticed a few things tho: - octoroks, just rewind either your weapon (shield / bow doesn't work) and your weapon just straight up kills them (with no durability loss) otherwise rewind their fireballs or let them eat a bomb; - Ascend works through talus bodies, makes them so much easier haha; - Constructs: you can just joink off other blocks than the core, eventually it breaks apart (like after 8 or something), makes them 10 times easier.

I see a lot of ppl focussing getting the core, which almost get's them killed. I just grab what I can, if it's the core great if it's not it's no drama

Now do a second challenge + Wind element and earthwake (there are rock likes, and wind based weapons, korok fronds + Tulin is a thing.) Wind armor could be Dive armor, and rock armor could be Climbing. Also light and dark (dazzlefruits, mirrors, muddle buds, etc.), Bc Gibdos also lose to light, neat detail, and muddle buds tricks monsters, like darkness tricks and takes people from light. Light armor would be Mystic armor, and dark armor would be Depths armor. All of these have at least one side quest, which would make the experience more fun.

No problem! One tip for gleeoks next time: You can actually parry the gleeok beams. Normally it doesnt really work because then the second will just hit you, but you quickly switch shields while parrying to skip the parry animation.

I've seen a couple people talking about algorithm boosting and stuff like that, and I think it's potentially because your content is very reminiscent of SmallAnt who very much makes his content style to get traction and take off similarly. Popular game, interesting challenge, quick cuts and quips, overall a style that appeals to people even though the videos themselves are long in comparison to must videos on the platform. My strategy for fighting gleeoks is to just shoot keese eyes out of a lynel bow as soon as it gets up. I also kill a lot of lynels and have the crazy scimitar of the seven thing, so that really helps. Also, you should do a lynel only challenge run. I saw another youtuber do it and it was quite entertaining. So justin, If you read this, please take that into consideration. Also just wanted to say I love your TotK challenge runs so keep it up! Just to help you out (you know, seven months earlier when you played this), you can get the scaffold from the Kara-Kara Mine and autobuild that for each Gleeok fight so you have protection and a place to ascend to. Also, if you get in five good smacks and then retreat to the scaffold, you'll avoid his recovery and wind attack.

tip: The Water Temple has a lot of Large Chuchus. You can get electric jelly by doing the waterwheel puzzle, then Ultrahanding a bubble to conduct the electricity. Then, just place a Chuchu Jelly near it and it'll become yellow. You can do the same thing with Red Chuchu Jelly by a campfire or stove. White Chuchu Jelly can be made by using an ice attack on the items. I don't know if this works with Shock, Fire, or Ice fruit as well.
