Fabulous Fish! 🐟🐟💪👍 My Golden Retriever used to dive for rocks, too. Somehow his teeth survived with him to 14 years. Those wacky Retrievers 🙄 I shared my life with a huge, wooly Newfoundland Dog for ten years. Studying the history of the breed is what enamoured me to The Rock. A true blessing to dive into Nature every chance you get. Appreciate all your outdoor adventures Justin. Keep 'Em Coming 😉👍🌲🌲🐕🚶‍♂️

12C or 13C a couple more hot days. My sister's place is nudging 50C right now. Arizona. I have a small place up at Wesleyville. There is almost no ground dry, or flat enough to hike. Just bog and stumblebrush. Your hike looks good. You have a good day.

@Dave White It IS nuts. She is out in the desert about 70 miles south and east of Phoenix. Just cactus sagebrush, mesquite, and creosote,, for almost 2 months now it has been over 100F every day,, highs last week were 114,, 115 (46C) and 50C is not unusual. I'm like Justin,, I like to paddle and explore. 6 years ago, I was on the Colorado River near Las Vegas. From before dawn, I paddled 26 miles,, no wind, no current (Lake Mead) and the high for the day was 122F , 50C. I was not using the bailer to scoop water out of the boat,, I was using the bailer to scoop water into the boat. Every 10 minutes I'd scoop 2 or so liters to pour over myself,,, and yet,, the floor at my feet stayed bone dry all day long. Beautiful,, but brutal day.

Beautiful camera work! I just had a thought that seems worth sharing. If you tagged and recorded the fish you release, over a few years you would build a record of the fish populations that possibly nobody else has. You are going where few others go. It might add to the fun of fishing since once dinner is caught there's little point in hassling them!

Good to see you and ol Saku out and about. Man the flies looked bad around the water. Guess it's just the price of Admission this time of year. I'm pretty sure I was as mad as you at the cause of Saku getting a cut paw. I would like to shove that glass into very specific places of the people do things like that. Give Saku a pat on the head for me. He is always a treat to watch. Well, and you are too my friend. Take care fella.

Those fish must be starving. The trout here would be scared off by that big spinner. We have to go stealth for Brook trout here. Just a leaf worm on a small hook, drifted in natural like. If they can see part of the hook they won't touch it. Your trout there must not be used to having fisherman about.
