In this video, I show you how to replace a Toyota/ Scion key fob battery. If you find that your key fob doesn't work all the time, or that you need to be really close to your car, it's probably time to change the battery.
Fortunately, it's an easy DIY and the batteries are inexpensive. Toyota used this style of key fob for many of their vehicles, so hopefully this video helps you!

I tried to change mine, after changing Acura, Honda, and Mazda fobs. This is a really crappy thing as I opened it at the store and all small buttons fell on the floor and the module says nothing about opening it.

Damn. They had two different keys for the E90. One had a regular coin batter like this. The other had a rechargable battery and if it died you had to replace the whole key
