They are a great duo. But Bobby Hatfield tenor shines through and brings a light, the singing that nobody compares to what I mean by me Hatfield got a voice which is amazing.

I love me some Righteous Brothers.❤ They never miss live or in studio, they were the greatest duo ever in my opinion. Watch them sing "Dream On" live, it's great!

Allways a surprising end ! That’s what we mean by thunder and lightning with Bill’s powerful and deep voice able to harmonize with Bobby’s smooth countertenor perfect voice. You should also react to the most-played song on American radio and television in the 20th century, You've Lost That Lovin' Feelin it will delight you. And for a change … the wild and surreal performance of Bobby’s Summertime and the incredibly hot Bill’s I wanna make love to you. That’s when you ‘ll fully realize how good those Blue eyed souls are. And why we oldies miss so much very very good and talented singers. Good job I love your reactions ❤

And the polite audience were silent until the end of every song. Bill Medley is still with us at 82. They didn’t sing a bad song. Bobby singing Summertime or Ebb Tide is good. They both made separate albums and came back together. You have years of their music to choose from. Thank you.

I love your reactions! They’re so honest and expressive! The Righteous brothers were some of the best! I am 77 years old and so I was blessed to hear them as a teenager! Now I love them even better, because I can appreciate the gifted mess, and each one of them, and the amazing ways that they contrasted one another in singing!

I subscribed. You get it about the raw talent and why old school artist's music is still being played today Your folks got it too..good music is good music. The Righteous Brothers were phenomenal. I still listen to them all the time & enjoy your reactions to their music. Bill at 83 is still touring with a new partner but always pays homage to his forever "brother" Bobby. I saw them last year & the house was sold out.

Here is a link to the Righteous ,Brothers singing with The Blossoms. kzbin.info/www/bejne/bai1cmyqm6qqgtU This is from a popular tv show called Shindig. 😊 You mentioned how perfect they were. B4 their fame they played the 2am shows in Vegas. Frank Sinatra caught their act and took them under his wing. He called them "the kids". The Righteous Brothers credit Sinatra for showing them how to be performers & entertainers, not just singers. Here is a link to Bill singing I Just Want To Make Love To You. Too spicy for a video. kzbin.info/www/bejne/i5XcoqOopplpmJI Enjoy!💕

Bobby left in 2003,his arteries were ravaged from cocaine. Not. even Bill knew Bobby used sò i guess it was subtle. But he was great. He arranged the annual Bobbÿ Hatfield Classic Golf tournameñt that made millions for Research on LUPUS, which his wife suffered from. RIP Bobby. We still miss and love you.
@Aurora-tp3dy9 ай бұрын
BS He had blocked arteries just like thousands, if not millions of older guys from genetics, diet. Bobby was thin, just as he was when he was younger; but, he had a good appetite. Cocaine would have dulled it. (People are so used to seeing folks overweight that don't know what normal looks like anymore.) Sheesh, that trace amount of cocaine, if actually there, may have caused the heart attack slightly sooner than he was bound to have it, per the medical examiner. No one close to him, including family and Medley, saw him using or under the influence; but, you know what was really going on in his life. He was ravaged by cocaine, but no one saw it, seriously.🤦🏼♀️ What Medley speculated, since the autopsy found that trace amount, was that, since Bobby was so ill, he indulged to have the energy to go on that tour. How about just listen to his music and stop the fiction writing.

If you are interested in something very different, try Procol Harum- A lighter shade of pale , glorious. Incidentally, this Righteous brothers song is probably the only time you’ll see Bobby stand still. (I didn’t think he could; he sang with his whole body. And boy! Could he sing)
@doloresschultz68046 ай бұрын
Watch the version of Procol Harum with the Danish Orchestra. Sooo good. would like Al Greene singing How do you mend a broken heart, and Brook Benton singing A Night in Georgia or try Percy Sledge Answer to my prayer. Eric Clampton Tears in heaven, Credence Clearwater Revival Did you ever seen the rain, The Hollies He ain’t heavy he’s my brother. So many. Sinatra sang a terrific song - The summer wind (an extended metaphor like The first time ever I saw your face- Rebecca Flack (instant love affair like with Bobby singing I Believe or He etc

@doloresschultz8393 are you kidding me! Sensationalizing to get attention. Bobby died of a heart attack because he had coronary heart disease ( arteries were 95% blocked). The medical examiner stated that was the main cause of death. He acknowledged the toxicology report that said that a trace amount of cocaine was found. Who's to say that wasn't a false positive. No one close to him ever saw him using. And he wouldn't have been able to perform as well as he did if he was under the influence.

They sang this on the Ed Sullivan show. I was in my teens and watched with my dad. Frankly, I thought it was beautiful but not at all their style. I was a little disappointed. My father had to explain to me that Mr. Sullivan was totally a middle of the road guy. He'd insist on something toned down.
@Aurora-tp3dy9 ай бұрын
They recorded it on an album so it wasn't odd that they sang it on Sullivan's show. If you remember, they also sang a very upbeat song and a number with Peggy Lee (that was so much fun) on the same episode.

😊 you’re one of the reactors I like to revisit because you are accurate in your comments. But don’t think they allways are so well dressed. That depends on the show they are acting on. If you go to Shindig performances that’s another face of the coin … shouting screaming dancing amusing … 😅
