It's basically wealth redistribution that tries to incentivize people to drive less so they make more. And as stated, 80% of people do make more Personally I would like to see the money used to invest into green energy projects like solar, wind, nuclear, geothermal, hydro but... whatever. I get all the money back and then some that I pay in

First of, 10%, not 30%. Inflation was never at 30%. Second of, inflation went up TO 10%, not BY 10%. And now back TO 2%, not BY 2%. Stay away from statistics if you can't interpret them correctly.😂

Well what Trudeau means is that the currency is decreasing at a lower rate, meaning prices will not increase as fast as they used to. It is 2% on top of what the price already was. If you want prices to go down and the currency to become stronger you need deflation.
