I made mine per the instructions and added garlic powder and finely ground powdered hatchery fish food. When I finished it seemed very wet and would not float, I added for baking powder and fish food powder to dry it out and it still did not float. I left it in a quart baggy overnight and noticed it was larger the next morning, It had actually risen like do and O took a piece and dropped it in water and it floated well. Can't wait to try it in the stream.

I know I'm late in the game but i have read through all the comments and attempted this with an expectation of failing (based on previous comments) but I was SUCCESSFUL (so far)! The bait did set up and floats good! I still have to do a field test on fish but i wanted to share what i used and slight deviations 1. Elmers glue(Glue-All Extra strong formula, small 4 oz bottle 2. Equate Shaving Foam (regular red bottle not the gel) 3. Equate Multi-Purpose Solution (green bottle "for soft contact lenses) 4. Great Value Baking Soda ( if you read this step in the video it says "Baking Power" which can be confused with Baking "Powder" which is different then Baking Soda like i used) 5. Glitter 6. Garlic powder I used the full bottle of the glue and the amount of shaving cream was a little more than 1/3 cup simply from the peaks cuz i didn't scrape off excess. As far as the contact solution, i only used 2 ozs (not 2.5 ozs) measured using a shot glass. Like i mentioned earlier baking SODA was used NOT BAKING POWDER. After working it to the solid state, it finishes almost like an easy to tear rubber structure. When i put it in the water, it briefly sunk upon entry into the water but SPRUNG to the top floating right after! I'm going to play more around with the recipe to see what i can or can't get away with like product brands/types, quantities and of course scents and effectiveness. I hope this helps out others! When dealing with "chemistry" there could be a single ingredient present in one brand but not in another that could ultimately affect the final product outcome/composition/texture. Thanks for sharing!

I have tons of shave cream that I mix with my brush, rather than adding water to make the cream I could use concentrated corn juice to whip up a nice fluffy cream. Cool idea. I make a lot of boillies, dough baits and pack baits. Pack baits are good for chumming the fishing spot and I just use fake corn or boillie on a hair rig.
