This isn't the first time I've reviewed Amyl and the Sniffers, but it is the first time I've reviewed them remotely: I'm currently on tour with The Darkness. "U Should Not Be Doing That" is Amyl and the Sniffers' first release since their 2021 album "Comfort To Me". I love it and their video.........

Been a fan of Amyl and the Sniffers since 2019 or so. Incredible to see how they've evolved into a far more confident a band today, and really bringing the full-power rock n' roll intensity. We need bands like this.

She seems really fun and cool, with zero need to project anything resembling flirty or sexy. Could but doesn’t. She is so great, and the band is obviously also excellent. This song in particular is super good. I’m so happy for their worldwide success. Well deserved!

Hi Justin, comment for comments day, and a question, if i may be permitted to ask? Firstly, thank you for doing this here on KZbin, i only discovered your channel late last year and your videos have been helping me with depression. It's that bad that i go through weeks, sometimes months where i can't get out of bed for long periods. But when you drop a video, i force myself to sit in the living room to watch your videos on the tv. I haven't been stuck in bed for three weeks now, and your talking about your own struggles with addiction and such inspired me to seek help. I'm now in therapy and on meds. So thank you good sir. Now, my question (if permitted) my friend Devon used to play guitar, he stopped after his ex girlfriend broke up with him four years ago. She used to like to hear him play. But last weekend at a party of friends, he picked up a guitar and played and performed vocals on a rendition of The Darkness song Friday Night. It was fucking amazing. Spot on performance. But still he refuses to pick up a guitar and play it afterwards. He looked happy while performing and i haven't seen him happy in some time. So my question, how can i convince him to start playing again?? Much love to you and yours, stay safe.

Shocked to hear that X-Ray Spex began the use of saxaphone in punk rock. Steve Mackay played sax on The Stooges proto-punk album Fun House way back in 1970. Amyl and the Sniffers are, I think, Aussie pub rock, you can tell by the mullet look that band often sport. Amyl and the Sniffers are on UK tour in early November, but unfortunately I won't be able to catch them because I am seeing Cradle of Filth and Sepultura gigs over that period.

Someone recommended Amyl and the Sniffers to me a few years ago. I loved their attitude and the 'get up there and play' take on things, but I found the songs a bit thrashy for my taste. But wow, over time I think their sound has really developed.
