A 5th ocean? Never knew that. Going to school in the 1970's, we were taught only 4 oceans...Atlantic, Pacific, Indian, and Arctic. When did this 5th ocean begin being recognized?

I went to school during the late 00s, graduated in 2010 and I've literally never heard of there being 5 oceans lmao just like you Atlantic, Pacific, Indian and Artic. Never heard of a Southern or Anartic Ocean.
