I saw them at a small venue in Phoenix, Arizona Oct 19th, only 500 people. You could feel the love between the band and their fans. If they ever play close to where you are DON’T MISS THEM. It was great that my daughter shared the fun with me. One of my favorite of all time concert experiences.

I'm envious! I bought tickets for Boston _specifically_ because it was the smallest venue at 400...and then it sold out so fast they moved it to the 900-seat Paradise. Which was still my favorite because it was the most intimate out of the shows I saw. I regret not discovering them until after the last US tour, but I feel blessed that I got to see them before they rightfully move on to bigger venues.

"Play" was suppose to be an instrumental but Saiki liked it so much she asked Miku to add words ! Ask the sixth maid what happened to her costume =) Thanks Great Reaction !

Yes, they were playing the game of faces (hengao) and Saiki lost. Akane got Saiki to laugh. You can hear it as Saiki crouches down and tries to sing through it at 3:31. 🤘😂

Play is great for live, it was an instrumental but lyrics added later. Band-Maid does have an instrumental on pretty much every album of the last few years. 'Without holding back' is one of them, which has Kanami and Miku "auditioning" Herman Li of dragonforce and the 3 of them playing that song, this was on Herman's channel and he did dress as a maid. Band Maid usually has long concerts, so they have Instrumentals, at least songs where Miku is the lead and Miku's magic time all of which are to give Saiki's voice a rest during a concert.

Yeah, Band Maid can, er, play. Japan is actually loaded with good rock/metal bands and I see that you have looked at two or three. Maximum the Hormone is really cool and does some crazy genre-shifting within songs and Dir En Grey is my favorite. Can range from melodic progressive to art rock to brutal metal and more with one of the most mind-blowing vocalists out there.
