Me too! So miss the vlogs daily! I do understand everything changes! I support you in it all things and I can miss you. When ever you post! Much gratitude and appreciation to each and one of your family members! I don’t even know if you still have aunt Flossie You would stand with her in the background, and she stood there and tilted her head Like she understood everything you said while you were talking about something on the farm. Thank you so much for so many fond memories. 👍👍❤️

ME , FEATURED in YOUR video?!? How amazing is that?!!! You are such a great story teller.... From the moment I hit play, I've been completely locked on every word! I appreciate meeting your whole family! And I love that you seemed "real" not overly excited or excitable but just like a friend. I'm so glad that you and Rebecca decided that it was all worth you leaving the farm to come to the festival. You being there added so much value! It was absolutely the most amazing experience for me!

HS'er mom here from 20 yrs ago. My thought on "socialization" has ALWAYS been...Why would I want them to be socialied like the world? I wanted my children to be able to relate to all types of people, Young, old, disabled, able etc. It was THE best time of our lives. I love watching your show and LOVE your family. I would be your mom in the background taking care of the children while you're doing your thing.

My son got "socialized" by the public school system and nearly ended up in a gang. I am so thankful for the Civil Air Patrol and the lessons he learned there. If I had another child they would never set foot in a school.

We know their strengths and we know their weaknesses, and we love them just the same. I pray that Justin let's go of the burden of trying to always be that "on stage" presence and just knows that most of his loyal followers would never expect that of him. 🤗🤗🤗

Made many friends that will remain in our hearts like our family. When we got home our garden for sure has a big change. Your booth was so busy we didn't get to stop by. maybe next time. Hope y'all had a blessed time I did tell Rebecca hi from a distance. Many blessings from our homestead to yours.

Wow!! That was amazing. You, y'all, just keep being you. I think, in my opinion, (that and $2 get you a large coffee) when someone one says "that you are the same in real life as you are on stage", that that is one of the highest compliments that you can get these days. I believe that people don't just dish it out lightly. It's an earned level. I too love your projects, watching our family grow, your stewardship of the land and animals, your willingness to show and teach that this isn't rocket science. It's improvements and tweaking, it's work smarter not harder. It's learning about yourself and your family. Also, I love to watch how your kids are growing into themselves. How they take on the tasks at hand. How their interests grow. Woodworking, welding, working the livestock. Figuring out how to make things better and easier while still having fun. I spent a number of summers as a young boy (late 60's early 70's) on a farm that was just east of y'all. Unfortunately, now it's a subdivision like everything else. I learned so much from the caretaker, he was an amazing man and it was an amazing place. I could keep going but I have tears in my eyes. I guess what it comes down to is thank you for letting us into your lives. Thank you for teaching us. Thank you for so many things. But most of all, Thank you for you being you, and y'all being y'all!! There are so many great things to come with the collaborations that are in place. Rock on Justin Rhodes Family and Friends. Rock on!! Justin Rhodes for President!! We've only just begun!!

Im an oldschool homeschooler mom most of the home school journey as a single mom. all my kiddlettes are 36yrb, 30yrb(autistic will always be home and is a great gift from God, 28yrb and 23yrg) the 36 yr old graduated college with honors in Computer sciences from Missouri University, my 30 yr old is still working on the important things but he is getting there, 28 yr old is a youth minister in training and pursuing a degree in electrical front of house music editing for Churches, my daughter just finished today and received her an AA in graphic design and a BA in Design and minor in Communications. Homeschooling allowed them to explore what they needed to become the people that God created them to be and learn much more than a classroom would have. They are more social than I am and can hold their own in any group. Watching you and your children inter act with others and encourage others makes my heart happy and encourages my son and I to try to get some land and start a tiny homestead, I think it would be good for him and my self. Thank You Justin and sweetly Blessed Family

I am one of those who came for the chickens. Specifically from a google search for chicken coop designs and found your chickshaw. But yes I stayed for the family. The reason I still go back and binge the 100 days of growing food playlists is for the family interactions. You could just as easily rebrand your channel as a parenting channel.

You both have a talent for speaking in front of a group. You smile, you say words that form sentences that communicate and explain and tell stories, you don't stutter and stammer, and you keep smiling, and you keep talking, and you stop when you're done. And you both keep getting better and more comfortable. And people come and come back. So, good for you.

I love the slice of life both family and homesteading. I particularly noticed the videos when you were time and schedule concious. Thats been one of my challenges. It helps so much to normalize and educate and I suppose socialize living a homesteading life. The valueing and commitment and harvest/ reaping and receiving the blessings. And awareness of being blessed and sharing, etc. It's good to see it is real, it is "being"!

Justin, you and all the Rhodes family have made a difference to my life. I just wanted you to know that. And you know, even if you ARE tired, that's OK. You do a lot. I don't think any of us would take that personally or feel offended because you weren't totally on fire 24/7. I just wish I could come to some of these great events, but I'm half the world away and because of my chronic back issues I can no longer fly long distances, even if we could afford it! So please keep on making the videos, because it's the only way I'll ever get to see some of these things. And you should take full credit for the change you yourself create. You've taken me from saying "we should...." to saying "we will" or even "we have". You did that. So thank you.

I always like your view on homesteading and your definition of it. I live in a small city and can't legally have chickens or cows, but I have a 12 x 12 foot garden plot in the yard and strawberries growing in hanging baskets on my porch. Homesteading is a state of mind, and I think you've proven that. It's about taking small steps to change our lifestyle. Watching this video, you also realize it's also about community. We get our honey from a neighbor down the street (they just passed a city ordinance that allowed beekeeping in 2019), buy goat milk soap (amazing for dry skin) from a farmer seven miles from our home , and get all our organic meat and eggs sourced from local farmers. We started homeschooling in 2019 as well with four teenagers. We were worried that our children would miss school extracurriculars and being in school, but they've absolutely thrived. Our district allows them to stay in marching band, so they do go to school for one class.

It was so nice to hear the truth with all the homesteaders...knowledge is power for this community and it needs to continue to GROW with the world in the turmoil it is in...this is super important and your sacrifice is appreciated:) YOU ALL ROCK!

I found your channel by a friend getting ducks for my daughter and wanting to provide them with great care. I stayed because having a family homestead was my dream. We homeschool our youngest child & she loves agriculture . So we built around it. We started with ducks & quickly added chickens….then turkeys…..then a kitchen garden …then myotonic goats for weeds. This year we have our first full garden . We have preserved vegetables, fruit and meat. We came for the ducks, but we stay for the family projects. We do everything as a family too. Thanks Justin & Rebecca !!!

Being here, in Russia, I'll never be able to attend such a great event. But my heart is with you, homesteaders and homeschoolers ❤️ It's a pity that I couldn't listen to Rebecca's speech. It's very interesting how you combine taking care of animals and teaching children. A crazy chicken lady and a homeschooler mum from Russia 🙂

Justin I so needed this! I'm a homeschooling single mom who is trying to homestead to keep my kids with me as much as possible and these past few days have been so trying, I've been tempted to give up and go get a "normal" job. You give me the encouragement I need to keep pushing forward and fighting for what I know I want for my children. Thank you!!

Thank you!! You guys are wonderful and inspired me to create our homestead. I’ve had some sad losses but nothing can compare to the gains. Wouldn’t it be amazing to have a homesteading network in which we can all help each other out !?

Really enjoyed this. I haven't missed a vlog for several years. I watch because you show your hearts. All my life l have lived that life. Growing own food. Didn't home school but have always admired anyone doing it well. Now l have similar health issues but to the extent that l haven't planted a seed for two years. You have shared so openly that it has given me courage and insight. And its uplifting to see a young family carrying the torch so to say. Also, every vlog l think that little Henery looks so much like your Dad. Take special care and God bless.

Yes, you and your family HAVE changed my life, no joke. 2 years ago, your video on harvesting pigs introduced me to yall. 3 years now recovered from a heart attack, I've convinced my spouse and son now is the time to truly go all in. I would've loved to seen yall at the event, but I'm all the way in eastern Washington state. And as we were needing a name, and we are on Sheep Creek, in addition to a 100 Cornish cross coming in 2 weeks, we DID come up with a name... Wheeyup Sheep Creek Farm!!! Thanks to yall tho, we won't be here without a paddle! You've given me so much help, inspiration, I've laughed, I've cried, I've celebrated with ya! THANK YOU!!!!

I came for the chickens, stayed for the grass. I am fascinated with your pastures and I love hearing your tips in getting pigs to grow your grass or using chickens to till a garden. I got the chickens and soon maybe pigs. I’ve learned so much about how animals can live their best lives doing work I don’t want to do.
