Hehe, I often watch these just to hear justin's cover too. I already know how to play this song but clicked on it anyways for that reason. Can't say the same for his channel though, his lessons have been invaluable and I still watch it for those. Doing his blues lead courses now. One of my favorite Greenday songs... thank you Justin! I remember meeting them one night way back in the winter of 1994... they had played our local state college (unusual venue for them I think) and I worked 3rd shift manager at the local Truckstop where I met many of the bands that came through NH and stopped to fuel the busses and grab some food. Funny thing is I did not really know who they were at the time, and when I had asked them the band name and they said "Greenday"... real casual like. I just said "cool.. I'll have to check you guys out"... one of the guys (not sure which one) said "hold on"... went out to the bus and came back with a CD and a shirt... which was really kule of him to do.

I am about an intermediate and the bar chords timing will take some practise, I liked the octave part. Can you teach " I'm One by the Who but it is a Pete Townshend solo acustic finger picked. It is short in length but has great emotion. I will go to your request page

I don't disagree with using the bar chords. But it really sounds almost identical if you use open chords. You can still change the strumming dynamics.
