The Happy Birthday song was just recently...like a week ago...ruled by a judge that the song belongs to everyone. It was a two year long battle. Unfortunate to the people who owned it and were making millions off of it each year. But a win for us, because it now belongs to all of us. So no copyright worries should be had.

+Melissa Isom The "people" who owned it were Warner Bros. I think they can handle not getting the residuals anymore. The whole copyright enforcement, which didn't really start until after Warner bought the song in 1988, makes more sense if you think about it, since it would take a big corporation like that to flex the kind of muscle needed to get licensing money out of such a well-known song. The judge ruled that Warner's copyright applied only to a specific recording of the song from 1935, and the arrangement thereof. The words and lyrics are public domain.

EPCOT is awesome! Love the 80's style!! Living With The Land is probably my favorite current EPCOT attraction next to Captain EO and Spaceship Earth! Have fun at the Halloween party tonight, I've been a few times and it's pretty rad.

My picture from when I was like 7 is on the "Epcot graveyard" lol (aka Leave a Legacy) True, a lot of people don't like them being there but I love going back every vacation and finding my little picture on the monument!

Spaceship Earth reminds me a lot of Ford Magic Skyway (the Neaderthals!!!). And Horizons was a lot like (the non-Disney) GM Futurama attraction at NYWF.

I am one of those nostalgic Epcot Center fans, and I do miss old EPCOT. Despite all the changes, Epcot is still my favorite park. Disney is story-telling. At Magic Kingdom, it's classic story telling. At MGM/DHS, it's movie story telling. At Animal Kingdom, it's well, animals. Epcot has story telling as well. Edutainment. You get to learn amazing things, experience immersive history, present, and future story telling. It's a place for life long learners to have fun!

I also like the Leave a Legacy monuments. I think they look cool and fit the Epcot theme. I hope you get to eat at Garden Grill. It's fantastic. Ps. Don't worry about singing" "Happy Birthday" because a federal judge recently declared that the copyright claim on it was invalid.

Justin, I have this little black book that talks a lot about Disney World. It's called The Little Black Book about Disney World. It really helps talk about every park if you need more information. It might be a little outdated, but it's still a good read. I feel kinda weird cause I've been to both Disneyland and Disneyworld an equal number of times because I live in CA and my auntie works as a florist for Disneyworld and I visit my family there too.

And it seems every bit as cool as the blueprints suggested back around 1980 when I first read about it in Omni or Popular Mechanics mag as it was slowly coming to fruition. That's an accurate representation of Spaceship Earth! I am glad you are able to enjoy Epcot. We have our history too! By the way, people were uncomfortable with that Making of Me Attraction because it had Martin Short talking about sex. Too bad I have to work or I would be there too!

To me the park has become a shell of its former self. Still a wonderful place, but it needs updates and new attractions. They also need to make sure the focus is on science and technology and world cultures, and not Disney characters like Frozen. The world showcase isn't fantasyland, and Disney characters should only be used in the park as hosts, and not be the focus.

the World Showcase hasn't changed a whole lot, but as far as Future World the land has changed the least. They did remodel the eating area probably a decade ago, but living with the land is pretty much the same.
