Justin about that Hungarian dub for bane, I watched his black gate prison speech in different languages and when it got to the Hungarian version, the moment he started speaking I was rolling on the floor laughing for 3 minutes, it was hilarious. I actually think the head sculpt looks great. There’s a specific shot from that scene with Loki they are talking and Tony very briefly makes that face. Interesting choice to take that shot and use it here, but, definitely a great sculpt.

Funny comment saying that Tony is an accessory to accompany the Iron Man suit parts. That technique that hot toys used for the Stark Tower piece of having one color encased by another could be used to make a more accurate Tesseract. It would be awesome if hot toys made a Loki in his casual tunic from Avengers 1 to pair with this Tony to recreate the iconic scene(It could also give us a head sculpt of Loki from Avengers 1 that is meant to be displayed without the helmet).

Clearly, if I bought the "Mark 5 Suit Armor," it’s mainly thanks to your review. Despite being entirely made of plastic, I prefer it over my recent purchases of the Mark 3 2.0 and the Gantry Mark 6. Primarily for the iconic pose with arms spread out, but especially for the lower half of the helmet, which gives the face a unique touch and perfectly captures Tony Stark’s expression at that precise moment in the movie. I wish I could say the same for the other two versions I own; however, I fear I wouldn't be very convincing. They are clearly displayed with the helmets on. I’m expecting a lot from the Mark 42, though.

It's weird, I actually saw the likeness better compared to the older sculpts. I think the problems with it are down to the expression and it looks like he's based on newer images of RDJ, as opposed to the way he looked back in 2012.

42:03 perfectly sums up why Marvel Studios turned to full CGI armor starting from Iron Man 2, he looks like midget Iron Man here😂 The first movie still used some practical effects for the armor which is why Mk 2 and Mk 3 body proportions looked a bit off, like cosplayers with their cardboard armors, and also why Mk 4 suddenly looked so much better proportionally.

This is a very cool figure and a clever idea but WOW, super complicated. I’m kind of glad i don’t really have the room to properly display this guy. I normally all over a Tony Stark figure but they really did cheap out on the actual figure himself, all the time and development went into that armor. That chest piece set up really reminds me of the flying vests that the Guardians of the Galaxy had in the second of their movies. And I never even attempted to put one of those on the figure, it stayed safe in the box.

I'm excited for mine to arrive and I like it overall. However, I'm not sure if it's your lens but his head looks huge compared to his body. Speaking of, I'd imagine that by now 2024 (approaching 2025) more anatomically correct body proportions would be nailed. That body looks 2014 outdated. In the movie those pants were more flared at the bottom. Hot Toys made them high water.

I'm all for more Iron Man, but they dropped the ball *hard* with this release. The armor pieces are nice, but the figure itself is... yeah, it's bad. I'm not gonna dump too much on the bare proportions, they clearly had to sacrifice all that for the armor pieces. Also, really... not pushing for that Black Sabbath license on the shirt, c'mon. I think the Mark V Suit Up release was far superior to this, except for the details on the armor. This one is certain to sit for a while, like the Mark V did. I wrote this comment before I watched the video, so if I'm saying the same stuff, then that is the reason.

Dude, I don’t think you realize how expensive the Black Sabbath license is. It’s a VERY expensive license and that license also has to be partially charged on figures to make it back. I think Hot Toys didn’t bother due to the price and the fact they knew everyone who buys the figure would complain that he was overpriced when there’s really nothing they could do to change that if they bought the license That’s also the reason why a while back, Into the Spiderverse Miles’s shoes weren’t Nike branded. Expensive license fee that would affect the price of the figure and everyone would complain Lack of a product license doesn’t always come down to cheapness. There are business level reasons half the time why something isn’t licensed

All the hype for this figure is diss the body has been exaggerated proportions are bad just because it has to fit the armor suit, def will needs socks cuz that’s just awful seeing those plastic shins once again HT dropped the ball on that, something that’s extremely obvious.
