I concur. Hot Toys already achieved monopoly and their lowest point I think was the Avengers Infinity War and Endgame figures, they're just churning out turd after turd after turd knowing full well rabid fans would just gobble them up. Inart slapped them hard back into reality and Hot Toys is now slowly remedying the fiasco, at a hefty price to the collectors 🤣

Great detailed review!!! As always appreciate the comparison! I'm old school. Six years ago I purchased the DX15 head to place on my DX 06 Jack. To this day I am 100% satisfied and don't think I need the upgrade!

This is extremely impressive, this is a first time seeing the older head sculpt is just as good as the new one ….HT did a great job in getting his likeness in both the older figures and the updated version as well….great review, the ship wheel is huge and to me not at all distracting from the overall look of the figure

Hey Justin! I don't know how you would feel about doing this to the inside of the hat, but I would take a little bit of sandpaper to the inside. That would give it some rough texture to help it sit better and it would actually give it a weathering effect like he's been wearing it for years.

@JustinsCollection understandable. Another way is to put some water on it, then take a hair dryer on a low setting and shrink it slightly. You would just have to do it in small increments and make sure you monitor the process carefully so it didn't shrink too much on one side. But you run the risk of possibly changing the color a little bit.

The DX06 in my collection is one of my favourite figures. Great move bt Hot Toys for those collectors who missed out on the previous releases and dont want to pay some of those crazy aftermarket prices to own a version of this iconic character. Still think the DX06 holds up very well.

Only bottom 2 belts are real leather and a buddy of mine also pointed out theres no paint on the “leather” straps that go between the fingers like the dx15 does. Awesome vid dude! Cant wait for mine!

Oh interesting, how did you come to find that out? The texture on the back of the chest harness belt thing matches the texture on the back of the real leather belts, hence why I claimed it was leather

What a loaded and amazing review. After watching, my biggest issue is going to be to pose with or without the jacket. Upon pre-ordering, i went with the idea of no jacket but now I'm not sure. I dont care about the size of the hat cause i was never going to use it. I love the bandana look and why cover the hair anyways. I will say that the non die cast sword n dagger is a slight let down. But man, this is a 9/10 figure for me. Thanks so much for the review

Mine arrived today ! I love it but It’s such a shame the hat is way too big and doesn’t sit right. It’s almost unusable for such an iconic part of his costume. And then the sword not being metal when it was for the dx15 for a £500-£600 figure that shouldn’t be the case. And maybe as he has the sculpted forearms it would’ve been nice to put his tattoos and Pirate burn on there. Aside from that it’s fantastic!

Loved the video! Quick question tho TO EVERYONE 🫠 I JUST received my commander Cody figure that I bought from eBay. It was still sealed in the shipper. But when I wanted to put it on display I found out both feet are loose. I don’t know if it’s the ball joint in the ankle or the foot itself is there any way to fix it? I spend to much money on this thing just for it to be cast aside… any help is appreciated!
