Justin Stanley flip it then remove the bottom and add a metal bracket around the sides and use that was a wall mount and maybe add a thin piece of wood to cover the wires and book also a mini shelf.

Pretty easy? Just a rocker switch wired up to the hot line of the circuit which then runs to the bulb and back through the neutral. Not hard
