Today we see if we can beat a hardcore nuzlocke of pokemon y with only electric type pokemon. This was a really fun challenge and I'm excited to do more. Let me know what type I should do next and in what game I should the challenge in!

Rules:
1) Catch the first type pokemon on each route if they have them.
2) If a pokemon dies we have to release it into the wild/box them.
3) Can't level my pokemon past the level of the following gym leaders ace.
4) Have to play on set battle style.
5) No items can be used in battle (held items okay).
6) Must nickname every pokemon I catch.

In terms of megas I would recommend only using them when the opposing trainer also has a mega, which for x and y is only a few battles

Yea, but he does have a point. I don’t think anyone watches these things to see if you actually can do it. With how watered down and babyfied the games are especially xy you can do it. Adding megas makes it easier I suppose but you’re winning either way

I gotta say Magnezone and both Raichu forms are mine. They're so useful in Nuzlockes but you should do a Monotype Grass run in HeartGold/SoulSilver. I don't think it's ever been done before

You can actually avoid that first trainer in the Cyllage gym. There's 2 ways to start going up the rock climb walls and if you go a little bit more to the left on the ground level you can find another rock wall that leads past him.

Tip for next nuzlocke, if you immediately rotate around to the right of the climbing wall in the Cyllage City Gym, you can avoid all trainers

I love ampharos it was my first ever shiny. I caught a shiny mareep in this game by horde hunting and its shiny mega looks so sick. Also why are you not running a special attack set on ampharos its mega has an insane special attack stat and its attack is a lot lower 165 special and 95 attack.
