As a latina, the term latinx is stupid. Sure the culture is masculine and of course there is machismo, but the feminine and masculine words are what make the language beautiful. In the words of Kourtney Kardashian "people are dying"

Yeahhhh.. LatinX is a term that most likely has been pushed by white people for identity politics. None of my family use it nor do the people I know. Same observation with Joe at 12:05, as a Filipina who grew up watching Mexican Telenovelas and other Latino telenovelas, I also observed that there are Latinos whom are caucasian looking or I can consider already white like Thalia, Bárbara Mori, famous youtuber Juan of That Was Epic channel, Laura Flores, Fernando Carillo, Ana Colchero, etc. they are caucasian-looking right??! It seems (not sure though) that they are already "mixed blood" if you check their DNAs, compared to native-looking Mexicans or Latins like that of JKN's guest Jesus, the late singer Selena, Salma Hayek, even Shakira (she just dyed her hair blonde but I know she's a natural black hair). You guys see the difference?

my family is chinese and my brothers and i were born in venezuela. I'm not fond of being referred to as a "china" because growing up, it was always used in a negative connotation with us. they always refer to chinese people as "chino" or "china" and then referr to other people as Mr. or Ms., and i got bullied in elementary because other kids would call me "china cochina" which means "dirty chinese girl", so no I dont like it when other people use the word "chino" or "china" to refer to an asian person
