Hi Rachelle, so nice to see and hear from you again. Really enjoyed that. Only problem is that you bring my big regret to the fore. I regret I did not start my pilgrimage when I was young like you. I was 64 on my first in 2013 and got so much more to do. Should have been going through the Holy Door this year but Covid killed that goal. Look forward to your videos of Fistere and Muxia. Amazing places, especially, in my opinion, Muxia. Good luck climbing that mountain.

@@IllGetThere I have come to realise that there is no 'next' camino. Every day is a pilgrimage but I still long to go back to Santiago. Read somewhere recently that we should say we are on a pilgrimage to the tomb of St James rather than 'doing the camino' but its a hard habit to break.

Great interview!! I decided a year ago during the pandemic that if I quit my job, I'm going to walk the camino. I quit a month ago and leave for Spain in Sept. and will be walking the camino Frances. QUESTIONS: Did you book your room beforehand so you're not racing for a bed? Did you ever feel like you needed to use the transporting service for your pack? Money- Did you have to pay the albergues with cash or can you use debit? I have sooooo many other questions but I'm drawing a blank. I love, love, love your VLOG's on the camino. You have such a positive spirit and a beautiful voice. I need to find my positive spirit...it's lost

Thank you so much!! I’m so excited for your journey! To answer some of your questions, I did book rooms here and there but mostly on days when I knew I would get in late. Other times, I just winged it and it all worked out. I carried all my belongings the entire way and didn’t feel like I needed to transport my bag forward. Most albergues were cash only but some in bigger cities took cards. I’m going to post on my Community tab on this channel asking for people to lmk questions they have so I can answer them in a video.
