I love Louise Hay, but The part I don't understand about this type of thinking is that they tell you to think positive, to say good affirmations, even when you are in a miserable condition. So, why dont any of this manifesting gurus just say "you have to lie to your self..." I would understand it better. Someone cannot just say "I am prosperous, I am rich" when the reality is that they are in misery . This paradox is the worst explanation of the law of attraction. It just seems to work for the middle or upperclasses.

I understand your concern, I was/ I am there too. However, even if you’re present is not good, you could start maybe adding little by little. The basis of this is that we have a belief about ourselves and if we have lack beliefs that will keep us in the places of lack. I know that the world seems to function in certain ways, like socio-economic classes or even race privilege, but try! You won’t regret learning to love yourself unconditionally, become better as a human and empowered enough to change your circumstances. ❤

You're not lying to yourself, you are retraining your subconscious, which controls your reality more than you know. Your subconscious has been bombarded with negativity since before you were born, and that always translates to your conscious reality because your actions will reflect your mindset. When your subconscious is full of positivity, kindness, and abundance thinking, the paradigm shift your conscious reality will undergo will be amazing and transformative. Your reality might not be your ideal, but why not keep imagining. your ideal reality, which will cause your subconscious to send inspiring thought to your conscious mind, and you absolutely WILL attract opportunities that get you on the path to your ideal reality. One of my most favorite Louise Hay affirmations is "I am always in the right place at the right time." I say that to myself repeatedly every day. Also, "I am prosperous." I repeat that one to myself multiple times daily as well. I have attracted work opportunities, business opportunities that I can afford to invest in and, in some cases, money from unexpected sources. Now, it hasn't been massive amounts, but I believe wholeheartedly that the universe absolutely is sending a massive financial windfall to me, in short order. I have no reason to believe otherwise. I am hoping you receive the best and most prosperous life you can imagine! ❤

It works most effectively when done in the alpha brain wave. Repetition helps to engage the alpha wave, that is why using "mala beads" recommend you repeat the mantra/prayer 108 times, and rosary beads also are designed for repetition for the same reason, it puts you in alpha. Repetition eventually gets into the subconscious mind to reprogram it.
