The LVL 10 Fusion (Dotan) is actually interesting with Heavy Polymerization and the banish effect is not even once per turn. It actually gets kinda crazy if they handtrapped you a lot going second and you play matching handtraps. Probably best when used with boardbreakers that don't get rid of cards like Dark Ruler or Droplet.

Insect Invitation makes going 2nd as a Bug Player more viable as lets you Super Poly. Beetrooper Ultimate Fusion requires 4 Insects, so a 4+ monster board your opponent builds can be Super Poly'd. If they have a level 5+ on field due to Synchros you can Super Poly 2 of their board into the new Heavy Insect fusion. If you have a Beetrooper on field you can Super Poly one of their monsters into making Beetrooper Cruel Saturnus the other Beetrooper fusion that requires 1 Beetrooper and 1 Insect.

Brainwashing lets you Kaiju an opponents Monster, which meets the condition to activate this card, then take the Kaiju you summoned, use it this turn, and if it's still on the field in End Phase you get it back to hand to use as a Kaiju of their Monster next turn.

@@angel-memeroftheisles Did you not read my post? Played on turn 2 on an established board that turns their board into Insects because they weren't summoned that turn. Followed by a Quick Effect Super Poly which can't be responded to you slurp 1-4 Monsters into a Fusion depending on what you have.

@@angel-memeroftheisles Insect Invitation also allows you to resource loop a bit more in the Insect decks from the banishment. Recycling your starters, end pieces, extenders if needed, etc.

The cool thing about Insect Invitation is that if you manage to send it for cost at turn 1, you can start the next turn with everything being insects. It's a fun little card, some other cards have some synergy with the opponent's monsters being insects... Nothing coming even close to Buster Blader though.

The dinosaur card, I see the pun. Q sounds like kyu, which is 9 is Japanese. So QQ is kyu kyu, or 9 9. And it summons two level 9s for a Rank 9 Xyz. Also, Ennea (in Enneagon) is Greek for nine. Nines everywhere.

pretty sure the "when" effect means you can only chain it to an insect activation. So the only way to negate your opponent's monsters is if the activated effect was an insect as well. if the wording was "if" instead that would be the effect you were thinking of. I wish that card was that good 😢

​@angel-memeroftheisles It's a free extender and fusion card that makes it decent but the negate effect is actually kind of hard to pull off and that effect was where a lot of its power was at. Say, for example I try and activate Resonant Insect's effect, if my opponent uses something like Baroone or Apollousa, I can't chain Supply Soldier to their effects to negate them because they aren't insects and thus can't trigger Supply Soldier's effect. Invitation or some other card like DNA surgery would need to be active 1st to turn them into Insects in order for Supply Soldier's negate to affect them.

Yeah, going second it’s an insane board breaker. Oh you hand trapped me while I’m going second, activate Heavy Poly, send like Ntss and two sunavalons and take 2500. Ntss pop, then you can use Dolan, send a matching copy of whatever handtrap to banish 1. Then a second copy to banish another. Then a third to banish a third…

Insect Invitation is definitely supposed to be played together with super poly and the new insect fusion/the big Beetrooper fusion. Also, I just noticed QQ Enneagon has some similarities with Veidos. The wings on his head and general head shape do resemble him, and that Veidos is a Level 9 that technically works with this card might not be a coincidence.

insect invitation could MAYBE be an interesting super poly target generator, for the insect S:P which is cool or even the beetrooper that takes 4 insects which is kinda huge. Thinking about it, it's an insane going second card, activate it into superpoly into a big body OR a Insect S:P

10:34 You can fuse that card with cards from hand, deck, extra deck or banishment. What comes to mind is that new Heavy Polymerization, which would be banishing any 2 guys from the extra for it. Not very good, but considering they're fiddling with the extra deck again (Odd-eyes had a few cards like that), it could come up in the future maybe as a way to dump 2 extra deck monsters (improbable).

The level 5 is an interesting Resonance Insect target, we can always have more of those. I wish there was a Buster Dragon-like boss for insects. It'd allow for a lot of fun moves, like super polying the opponent's board into that beetrooper fusion.

For the new lvl 5 insect DNA surgury gives negates of monsters on field and the Rebirth Judgment lets you Negate monsters in the grave, there is also a lvl 3 psychic monster that can change all monsters on the field to insect (E Tele). Thunder Dragon Fusion can make the light warrior fusion from banishment. Release brainwashing is funny for a pure Kaiju Deck

Good support cards with the indestructible insects showing the most promise. DDD is actually pretty good, I just don't know how easy it will be to get him out without verte but the idea is you play him in ur side deck to win a mirror match in something like tear or snake-eyes fire king. You have an ongoing "grass is greener" effect that also banishes vs a deck you want GY banishes for and can trade with most extra deck monsters by battle.

I think the line on the insect monster about negating your opponents insects effects wants you to use that continuous spell with it? You go 2nd, activate the spell, now any effect your opponent tries to disrupt you with can be negated by the level 5 and then extend…I dont think it makes the continuous spell worthwhile but thats what the intent looks like to me. Continuous spell could also let you super poly away an opponents board that are now insects? Very cool stuff regardless.
