I don't think I can see Ryzeal and Maliss dominating the current meta? I think they'll need to be significant bans to Snake-Eye, Yubel and Tenpai for that to happen. Ryzeal and Maliss don't feel like powercreep to me personally.

@@RLuke103 Ryzeal gets their L4's on field better than Star Seraphs. The deck is strong and it enables many three-material cards to be played too.

@@RavenCloak13 OCG has Ash, Poplar, Diabellestar, Engraver, Bonfire, Tract, Phantom and Wanted at 1 and Throne at 2. TCG just has Ash and Poplar at 1. That is why Ryzeal and Maliss are dominating the OCG. If the TCG doesn't hit Snake-Eye and Yubel in the same way then Ryzeal and Maliss won't be the best decks.

@@residentgrey L4s are fine but the reason why Ryzeal and Maliss are so strong in the OCG is because Fiendsmith, Yubel and Snake-Eye have been hit hard. If they're not hit hard in the next TCG banlist, they'll still be better than Ryzeal and Maliss.

As a Yubel player, Chaos Hunter is defiantly a card I've been considering for next format. A flood gate on their turn, then half a Yama or moon on my turn. That's pretty good.

Seeing a card Konami keeps in the F2P trader in Duel Links as a meta threat is always a curious site to me. They also gave us Book of Eclipse recently, and I have been hoping they add Maliss and Ryzeal in to the format too, meaning there will be Speed Duel play with the cards.

Ultimate Slayer is duper broken. Not once per turn, monsters can't do shit bout it. I use 3 on my Nekroz Dogmatika deck, I'm just waiting for the new Nekroz Pack for Master Duel and boy oh boy, I'm even thinking about using Sophia again.

I know it doesn't really matter but the AI enhanced card arts kinda annoy me in the editing. I understand the logic behind it cuz most of the new cards don't have high res images floating around but the AI-ness of the screenshots just look really offputting personally

Sophisticated algorithms are not all AI, just so you know. It has become misused lately as a corporate buzzword that is overused to get money, just like with climate change. Years ago I had some capacity to write such code. I hope that may be the future for me too. If that can be true for you, may you find that future too.

just play casually since it’s hard for u to afford it. u can still have fun playing the game just don’t expect to win against real meta decks, but maybe u can face some other rogue deck and have little fun there.
