This trial in the anime took about 14 minutes and 30 seconds to end. This trial in the game took 1 hour, 32 minutes and 18 seconds to finish. Difference much?

Even though he did murder poor Chihiro, He was (obviously) justified to be pissed off at Byakuya for how slimy he was for messing with the crime scene and blaming Toko for the sake of it, and I can admire that. He’s one of the few killers I can truly sympathize with without condition.

Remember how back in the trial they explain how a e-handbook can be broken due to being exposed to extreme for a long period of time? Makoto claims that Mondo has Leon’s handbook because it actually wasn’t the one that was broken. Mondo’s handbook was broken. Remember back in chapter two where Ishimaru and Mondo have a duel in the sauna? Mondo happened to have his handbook in one of his pockets; and since he was in the sauna, it broke. So he lied that his handbook worked just fine when he knew all along it wasn’t his.
