Because Rantaro also wanted to end the killing game and is a mystery himself? Kokichi knew this and likely kept Rantaro in his room to remind himself about that and allow him to reflect on Rantaro like why he can't remember his talent or how he knew about the library. He was also collecting evidence from previous cases so he wouldn't need more than one effigy. It's not rocket science. What? Were you hoping someone would say he's gay or something?

Why doesn't Keebo just use the Electrohammers? I know this takes place only like a few hours after Chapter 5 but no one but Maki used theirs. He coulda easily beat 4 of the Exisals/Monokubs and then have 4 of the students pilot an Exisal each and beat Monokuma and the last Kub. They could also just bust into the library and destroy the machine that makes Monokuma if there is one after. GG? Also aside from the Kokichi's lab being an obvious Batcave reference, the chair in his room is a reference to the Mobius Chair that Metron uses lmao.
