The LY era was a complicated and vulnerable moment for BTS. As a band and individually, they were going through a lot - you can read about it in their book, Beyond The Story. When listening to the LY era songs, a lot of times you can interpret them as BTS talking to ARMY (not all the time, of course, but many times), especially the ones that sound more vulnerable. They are always sincere about their feelings, and that's something that makes them and us (their fandom) so connected 💜

There are singles artists and there are albums artists. BTS are in a 3rd, rare category in pop: discography artists. You need the side tracks to see how their writing and themes develop and inter-weave over the years. So satisfying. I forgot how much Outro: Her foreshadows LY: Tear. Since they’re such immaculate performers, so glad you’re being thorough like a real fan. I think the 1st comeback stage styling encapsulated the concept of Go Go the best, but can’t be mad at the sexy version 😂 I hope you can react to Sea, the hidden track on LY: Her, since it’s a significant great song of theirs.

The beginning of that dance pratice was them figuring out who was going to be snow white by playing rock paper scissors. Bangtan subs has a translated version of that part so most people watch that part on their channel then come back to the original channel to watch the dance pratice part (I've said this before probably but bangtan subs really is a good channel for your translation needs such as these🙄. So I hope you look for them next time they're quite helpful and give a lot of context to particular situations😁✌🏾💜

BTS main releases are great of course but BTS B sides are everything for me. They are all so different and their quality is what really sets them apart from every other group. GO GO is a complete earworm and one of my favs. You should stick with the Love Yourself series and do LY: TEAR next. Every track could be an A side on here, but this contains one of the most underrated tracks ever, 134340. Only BTS could use Pluto losing its planet status as a metaphor for losing love!💜

Go Go's a really interesting song where you can interpret it as either the literal "spend your money, you earned it and there's no point saving it for a future that's already bleak anyways" or you can take it as the satirical callout of that exact mindset lol given the goofiness of the dance I usually take it as satire, but yeah, great song regardless! Both that dance practice and that thirst trap version of the performance live in my head rent free.

I love that you do the whole album review!! Not enough, you tubers go into the deep tracks with the album and discover them later, but I am a fan of listening to whole album at the same time to really see what the artist was thinking when they wrote the whole thing. Go Go was my alarm tone for the longest time! Now I’m using Daechwita but thinking I might change to Jimin’s Set me free lol! Also use Airplane pt. 2 for my notifications and I’ve always used V’s anthem from Jump for my ringtone which is hilarious when I’m at certain places! I agree with you Bsides are all bangers and Outro: Her is so underrated. I honestly believe it’s because people don’t really absorb the lyrics. I often think the bsides are better than the title tracks (in the past at least)....also, my personal faves from this album are Serendipity, Sea (hidden track) and outro Her. I was so obsessed when the intro mv for serendipity dropped that I just watched it over and over and I literally could not stop myself from uttering "He's so beautiful" everytime.

I loved your reaction so much, very thoughtful and nuanced but also fun! Also preach! about the B-sides… so agree… They are the treasures in the BTS discography. The title tracks attract fans but the B-sides are what keep fans. I love the message of GoGo too, there is a great video about it’s meaning by a Korean lady but I don’t have the link at hand… also they very specifically chose to have trendy dances to fit in with the Yolo and gen Z themes etc. I love the sexy version of GoGo too they all look soo good. Our pretty Taebaby was esp slaying… you could see he was feeling esp sassy during it and I’m here for it. The dance practice is legendary. Taewhite and the 6 dwarves were so adorable. I love the Bangtan bomb behind the scenes of it too. I’ve seen people before comment that Tae didn’t look happy but it didn’t have anything to do with the dress… just before the time the dance practice was filmed, in oct 2017 his good celebrity friend, a model & dj died tragically from suicide. Tae was close to him and had posted videos of them together… he also was still grieving his grandma too (who helped bring him up and he lived with) who hadn’t passed that long ago in sep 2016. (Fun tidbit: He even wanted to be Harley Quinn one halloween but wasn’t allowed) I love all the details you notice about all the members and esp your soft spot for TaeTae. I loved your care and attention to the lyrics of Outro:Her too. No need to apologise for pausing, I actually like it! Thanks for a wonderful reaction. 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜

I think whoever created the Fortnite dances is secret ARMY because technically Go Go was released 2017 and I believe Fortnite dances came out in 2020.
