I just thought "oh my god, are people going to be saying sh1t about me when I have wrinkles and have to work to maintain visible muscle tone?!" By the same token, I had some pretty horrible experiences being bullied by older women when I was about 17 as I was with an older guy. I won't lie and say that, - now I am 37 - I don't occasionally meet a beautiful woman in her 20s who speaks with intelligence and passion, and feel a pang of ... something. Not quite jealousy, but its definitely closer to envy than not. I remind myself how it feels to be young and do my best to engage, encourage, and build their confidence. It depends on what kind of 35 year old. When I was 33, I had a 23 year old girlfriend. She had a preference for older men. It was nice having someone that wasn't all used-up and bitter around.
