I had a body shop install a counterfeit radiator assembly on my Jetta and return the vehicle with AC inop and coolant gushing from the car. I wasn't about to give those clowns a chance to break some more stuff so I took it to a competent indie Euro specialist mechanical shop. Even though the front of the car was all smashed up and leaking coolant after the wreck, the AC actually still worked when I dropped it off at the body shop. I'm just glad there was no frame damage because the body shop definitely would have botched that repair. There were also some fisheyes in the paint, the sign of a shop that can't even properly do the work they specialize in. Unfortunately I couldn't sue them because they were already in bankruptcy by the time I went to file. The body shop no longer exists so at least I can take some comfort from that.

The only way I would buy a Lambo would be if I got a great deal on a used one and did all the work myself. I wouldn't even trust a Lambo factory tech. Being an aviation maintenance tech trumps that, in spades.

Love the accusatory "apparently" every time "another shop" is mentioned. 😊

The customer put water in his engine and then turned the vehicle off immediately after he realized what he had done. That's being dumb and smart at the same time!

My first car was a 1968 Pontiac LeMans. I drove the livin' hell outta that car and at one point, a hydraulic lifter was not functioning correct and it was chewing-up the push-rods. I was poor, -work three part-time jobs and barely made $100-150 per week. A cheap solution was to have a handful of 'used but good' push-rods in my toolbox, and a modified rocker-arm to have a washer welded to 'deepen the cup' to receive the top end of the push-rod... when the engine started misfiring too badly, pop the valve cover off (it had a neoprene-rubber gasket so it came off/on easily enough) and slip-out the worn push-rod and drop in a new one, re-tighten the rocker arm and replace the valve cover and we're good to go (for a few more hundred miles.) I drove this thing to Colorado and back twice (from New York) until a mechanically-inclined friend told me to just pull the hydraulic lifter out (replace it) -which I did. It was 'flared' a bit on the bottom end where it contacts the camshaft so a bit of flat-filing was done (with a few clean cloths strategically placed to catch the filing shavings, got the lifter out, dropped new one in, replaced everything and it ran for a few thousand more miles until ...the transmission crossbeam was discovered to be eroded and had holes so sold the car to my best friend and we entered the car in the Demolition Derby at the County Fair that year... he got 'black flagged' quick when the gas-tank fell off the car(!!) but it was a fun car, gave me 4 or 5 years of use. Good friggin' times!!!

This is what happens when you slap a cheap Chinese turbo on an internally stock motor and then crank up the boost to the max.

How does one go from 10 liters of engine oil to 28 liters, how did that happen? 🤣

@@georgejohnson7591 Maybe the owner thought the liters of the engine was also the oil amount?😜

@@LazyLifeIFreak I doubt he was capable of that level of thought.

Now, if what happened to that Urus happened to any other car, the repairs would probably cost like, $2k, but, with the Lambo tax, it's $20k.
