The best thing about traveling in the U.S. is that you can find just about any type of climate, landscape and local customs (and things to see!) that you're interested in. Also, the sunset at the beginning of your video was so lovely, complete with a full moon. 😊💗

Yes! ❤ And things like vanlife and DoorDash without being a proper fixed-hours employee aren't against the law there. Nope, I'm not being cynical. I've lived in the US and loved it. I'm currently in my tiny native country, the Netherlands. DoorDash doesn't exist here but there are other options. Or so I thought. Uh oh. I was wrong. And vanlife is essentially illegal here.

Hello I noticed you took a big chunk of salmon and gave it to Ruby as a dog owner myself. Please check the salmon with your fingers prior to giving her a big chunk because sometimes you get bones in the fish even when they say it has no bones you have to check it yourself. There are fine bones that she could swallow and be in big trouble. Please check that fish before you give it to her For safety for her as well as yourself. She would not know if there was a bone she would eat it. That looked wonderful by the way you did a great job!

That’s very wise about using the frozen peas that keep the fish cold! Cooking a whole potato on there would be really good just sliced it half and just salt. It really good and just cook it on the fire would be really good with that. Dinner looks delicious. we ever thought about doing that to make extra money?Have you seen any drones? Be careful!

Good idea to grill the salmon. You can wrap the salmon in tin foil, holds all the cooking juices together as it is cooking , keeps it moist. Add lemon as well, really nice.

The stars at night in the desert are gorgeous. And I'm so glad you gave Ruby the salmon! I totally agree that a lot of "human" food is bad for dogs, but I also love to share with my companion animals when I can. My two current cats don't like human food at all, with the exception of butter and milk. After so many years with cats, they're the first two I've had that don't attack my plates. :)

Salmon and peas is such a New England thing. In the Spring the peas are ready to harvest at the same time that the Salmon run. Creamed Salmon and peas was often a 4th of July fair for us just outside of Boston. It just delights me how many different views Ruby wakes up to. 🌿🐾🌿🐾🌿

If you have left over salmon it makes a good salmon filling for a roll or bread with Mayo and seasoning. Have you thought of keeping disposable gloves from the Dollar general? It keeps your fingers clean. Rice with turmeric, peas & coconut are good!
