From most the videos I’ve seen here, most of these accidents looks on purpose. How sheep is the iRacing community (it seems to be EVEN WORSE than the giant LFM shithouse) makes me wonder about it.

I haven't been on iracing in years. Just wondering if anything has changed. Do you still get people who message everyone at the start of a race saying they are only there to get their sr rating up then proceed to run 5 seconds of the pace and get in everyone's way because they don't want people passing them?

the focus isn't on the graphics or physics when cars collide. its about the feel of the car and how it responds. how it turns, accelerates, brakes, locks up, over/understeer, nothing else matches to reality as well as iRacing

I raced way back when this all started. Not Iracing but back in 1997 when it was a Nascar Sim. I raced for about 12 years and I have been toying with getting back into the sport. But, I watch these videos and it just pisses me off. Some of these guys should be banned. More of them pull or back up into traffic after they spin out. Or one thing is they let the car roll instead of keeping their foot on the braked pedal. The dive bombs and the childish obvious paybacks are just stupid. I just don't get it....... didn't all these idiots pay the same amount of money as everyone else? I will probably just run on the dirt side because I am a lifelong sprint car guy. I'm sure that will have it's own issues but at least the fields are much smaller...... I just don't know if the cost is worth the aggrivation!

Most of the crashes are in entry classes, from my experience i can say that iRacing is very fun as soon as you get into better licence classes

@@ich_magdichessen5457 I find lower class fun too. Just think of every other driver as very gifted 5th graders. Play it safe most are not good enough to race wheel to wheel and the same (although less exaggerated) is true IRL. Wait for them to make a mistake and boom. No need to pass on merit in lower licenses just let them do it for you. Honestly ramming is worse in higher classes in my experience.
