Christina can definitely sing but sometimes she seems to overdo it at times. That has to be one of the best live performances I've ever seen her do. Anyone who knows how she performs live knows that on her best days she don't sound this good, this controlled, and this smooth live... ESPECIALLY when she hits B4 notes and above.

You clearly haven't seen her "I love you, Porgy" performance. Christina chooses to sing in a raw, less structured style. When she needs to control her voice she can. If you notice, her tone of voice sounds different too. It's lighter, more open and connected that usual. That's because she's singing her natural tone and isn't darkening her tone by playing with her larynx. In her natural voice she has much more access to her range.
