Close In C#major: She does a a octave "run" from just under A4# to E5 then jump to just G/G#5 (You can provde this watching a pitch/voice oscilliation app). The whole run is incredible, but it's the last "holy-spirit-has-taken-over" moment between her last interval that seems to send chills. Quick admission: I actually posted this video for the first time on YT (10 or more ago) from a collection of Patti LaBelle videos a friend gave to me. I spent hours adjusting the sound and color from the "original" VHS copy so that it would the resonance and beauty of what I saw would be captured. My friends and I watched the tape on Patti LaBelle birthday, and I later edited, and posted it on KZbin because I thought the entire world should see it. My YT account was deleted, but thankfully someone copied it and reposted it. I'm overhelmed at the reaction videos I've seen. It's moved me to tears thinking I might have actually done some good thing. Anyway, all I can say is, you have forever Patti LaBelle fans in Philadelphia to hug, if you seen this video. Cheers.
