My short term prediction is that Locatelli will be a starter come the beginning of the season. He may not end up being a starter in our strongest starting 11 once the new arrivals have acclimated, but he will have many games to play this season. My long term prediction is that Loca will be one of the top 3 captains of the club if not the undisputed captain once players like Danilo have moved on

Idk guys Vlaha lacks the first touch, but he doesn't need to be, although in Motta system he actually might lol But Loca is very fast thinker with a ball, he really can move it. When he's on his groove he can almost move it like Kroos. That is exactly what is needed for Motta from right/left side on center to the opposite wing in last third of the pitch, fast. Loca is amazing at that. Remember how he did it with Berardi, it was kino. You underestimate him bad. He also type of player that gets better with age and which is also important he's rooting for juve since he was a kid, he would give his everything on the pitch. I hate how so many players degraded under that terrorist allegri

If they stay, guys like loca and mckennie could be valuable options in a long season for depth - or at the 70 min as subs to tie or preserve points? Our best starting 11 will not start nor finish every game this year - strong bench is important if players wont/cant be sold.

Locatelli's struggles last season wasn't because of Allegri or because of himself, its because every technical player we were supposed to have in midfield was banned. Without Pogba and Fagioli, he was basically marked or pressed out of most games. He will be great with good midfielders around him.

Like you I love Loca as a person. The type that would be my fav when i was a kid. But you always said who’s fault is it that a player cant complete a pass? Not Allegri. Remember the stat where he had something like 2 passes the whole half? Cmon, qualities just not there

I am not sure if Thuram and Koopmeiners are better players than the Locatelli of Sassuolo. Koopmeiners is not Rui Costa. He is a good player but not great. We only need a regista. Douglaz Luis will help us build from the back. We already have four mezzalas (Fagioli, Rabiot, Miretti and Locatelli). This midfield can compete in Serie A. Also, we are trying to break even. Why not wait for one more season and go for a world class number 10 if we are not satisfied with this midfield?

beppe, beppe! why are you doing this to me? for locatelli to play in a 3 man midfield and thrive he should have someone holding his position. it worked in sassuolo. now with motta the one who stays a bit closer to the defense shouldn't be low technically but should have a defensive mindset. He drops to form a 5 at the back. The only player who could do that was barrenechea. That was my criticism of allegri, you can;t have 3 players who all want to go forward. Even Xavi at barcelona or busquets who were great technical, were thinking a lot about the defensive part. Without a holding p[layer we are going for catastrophe and you know that douglas luis is not that type. I say to everyone 2024/25 juventus you will bet on over 3.5 in every game. We will score and concede a lot

Locatelli was one of the worst players 23/24, also most of the players are not even at a level for Juventus. IMHO the last 3, 4 seasons we had the worst squad in Juve history. Average at max. Now, with TM and all these fantastic transfers Juve could have a great team with almost no averege players. When I see those players I can't imagine Loca in this team. Not even as a sub. Sorry, I love all our players but in a sporting side he is average.
