Correct. A number of players will have been told they will not make the squad this season. Players are paid high salaries and this is part of the football business. If they had played better last season, Juve would not have been changing their manager. They have no complaints. In McKennie;s case, his status and ability in football is not at the level where Juve perceive themselves, as number one in Italy. It should come as no surprise to anyone with knowledege of the game that he is no wanted.

Come on dude. Come off of it. The dude was first in this squad in assist. He should’ve had about five or six more if they had a striker who would just tap the ball into the net. He was Top 3 in chance creation and expected goals. Could’ve easily scored five goals if it were not for him, heading to ball directly to the goalkeeper or the goalkeeper pulling off some outstanding saves or hitting the crossbar. In Allegri system, he was easily top five player in the squad. His name was on the team sheet every week. 😂 he didn’t suddenly become a player that is “not that good“. 😂

Weston’s situation is Weston’s fault. He was not fit during Copa America and he performed badly. At the same time, he was being sold and he refused to leave Juventus almost ruining the deal. I’m not sure what his agent is telling him but the advice is not paying off. If he decides on MLS that’s a huge fall from the top of Serie A.

We saw Crystal Palace starting to wake up, Villa surprising everyone and Fulham pulling off miracles. Not Leeds year but the fans thought it should have been - delusional. When they were playing well - thanks to Marsch and Adams - the good ole boy English officiating kicked in. Even a fancy Spanish manager and a right honorable noble English manager could not do anything with that bunch. Should've kept Marsch and stayed up. That was the biggest shit show I've ever witnessed and I've seen them all. So yeah sure - blame Weston McKennie. I am not a big Aaronson fan - but when he was played in position he was tearing it up. A few losses that should have been expected and the fans/media demanded he get pushed out wide or benched, Should have kept in the middle and stuck with the game plan.

I don't think anyone will pay 25 mil for him and I'm not sure any big teams will spend on the kind of player he is right now. That doesn't mean it's not good. Just, I don't see any Premiership or La Liga teams looking at him in 2024 and saying he's a hard yes. We all know he is, it's just the situation in the market right now. Juventus let it be known just before Copa America that McKinney was not returning. McKennie did not play in their last 3 matches and was sub’d off early in their 4th to last match. McKennie knowing that inexplicably played poorly in the Copa. That was his chance to find a new home. McKennie nixed the loan to Villa…… McKennie would not have played for the US in Copa if Berhalter wasn’t the coach. He was 15 pounds over weight and in poor form - he couldn’t keep up with anybody. Of course Berhalter didn’t have a clue! McKennie was terrible at Leeds. Lazy on the defensive side especially and once Marsch was gone his minutes dropped. Berhalter has his group of cub scouts - which is why we were weak in Qatar and worse at Copa. McKennie and the golden generation that someone started feeding us is BS. This Bethalter group is not good!

Herc, forget the career high stats season. He appeared averagely good in one of the **very** worst performing Juventus sides in recent memory. Plus his loan spell at Leeds was an absolute disaster.... His figures have to be put into the real context. His salary demands appear far bigger than his talent, and are absurd. No club in Europe wants to pay him what he thinks he is worth. Are top clubs lining up to sign him even at a bargain price? No they are not. Nevermind top clubs like Juve, even medium sized clubs are not. He was purchased at a time when Juventus were financially really struggling after the Ronaldo deal / serie A virus shutdown, and in truth he was NEVER Juventus quality.
