I know you said that you don't understand why they included a couple of these colors. But when I look at your arm swatches, I see three trios of eyeshadows. The warm, orange brown and yellow, , the cool blue greens, and the cool-ish pinky purples. So Isee you three distinct trios that you could pair together but also bringing other colors for contrast. I think it's a beautifully designed pallet. It's too bad that the map turquoise isn't intense and a little darker, because that would work much better to pair with the others in that color family

Yeah I guess you are right, its hard to see when they are all in there together, so smart, go you! :D And yeah the green should have been a darker more saturated one, to really pair with the other two :)

I bought this palette after watching her video, most people already own lots of darker colour from other palettes, so I guess this palette will be nice to use as it or par with others...her looks is absolutely amazing😍

I love this palette!! I know some people have issues with JP, but the are honestly my fav shadows- so saturated, so affordable, and so colorful! The only shadow in this palette I had some trouble working with was the brown, but even that one wasn't terrible. Always love finding YTers who love JP & color as much as I do! ❤️

Oh you would have loved living in the early 80s. The eyeshadow looks were amazing and you'd never wear less than 5 bright colours - in quite a tribal way - if going to a nightclub. Based on Siouxsie Sioux from Siouxsie & the Banshees, we always finished the look with a vertical stripe in the inside corners!

Yeah its very pretty, and Ive used it twice now and loved both the looks :D And I pretty much love all of them except the brown, and well the green matte is a bit of a problemchild :P

I bought this pallete as my forst colorful palette ans i love it but idk how to use the matte green/blue shade i ve tried a couple of times but i always ends up lookin very patchy. Tbh it might be the way i use it since it s my first colorful palette and i have still to learn how to use colors but except for that color everything else is super great! I LOVE the orange and the shimmers!

I used the mint shimmer on the lid with the purple in the outer v and crease and it was beautiful. I didn't even prime my eyes or anything. Juvia's shadows are fantastic! I love the teal you just have to build it up a bit.

I was so tempted by the Zulu.... Especially that green teal the duh one, but I see many shades kind of repeated in other Juvia's palettes (I own Masquerade, Saharan Magic and blush vol II) Love that matte violet... But I repeat your moto "you already have that shades!!!" 🤣

Wow! The close-ups show just how extremely colorful that palette is - I don't think I've seen one with that much color in a long time. Maybe they threw in the brown and raspberry so people wouldn't be terrified to purchase it, LOL. I was amazed at the color though and I've never seen a palette from them before. Thanks. :)

you could consider a video about how to work with a product that is not so good. e.g. a palette of eye shadows, a few of them don't perform well or maybe not that way you usually like. e.g. something that is too pale or is not easy to blend. how to use them still. maybe layering instead of packing? or I don't know a kind of waxy cream as a base for an eyeshadow that is too light for what you plan to use it . let's say, one has rather subtle shadows but once or twice a year a more intense look would be fine for a special evening. what can be done, without going out and buying something that would need years to use up...? things like that I wonder about. maybe I am not so much alike your audience for thinking like that, but I have the impression you would be one of those who could say something on that. I have another very favorite youtuber who usually incorporates stuff like that in his tutorials. but due to a project he does look tutorials for the next month, but I would like to see a video specific for that topic. or maybe several with different directions...? just in case you are looking for ideas ;-)

Its deffo something for me to think about. I do use some products with lesser pigment at times and try and mention how I work with them. But I will have this in the back of my mind if the oportunity comes up :)

I got this palette today off a friend's recommendation and I'm having SO many issues with the matte teal like color. It took me 2 hours to get the teal to blend out where it looked good enough that I didn't want to scream. But I'm trying to get the other eye done and the teal is blending away completely and getting sooo patchy. And they don't seem to be playing well with other brands eyeshadows. I tried to use a super light transition shade from PÜR and it didn't work. Tried to use Bulletproof from Sugarpill (black) to darken the raspberry shade on my lower lash line and it wouldn't blend with it very well. It would be a shame if you HAD to have their other palettes to do a complete look (if you wanted more neutrals or a black) than this palette offers. Guess I'm hunting down a ton of reviews to see what's up lol

Hmm I havnt had any issues with these colors except the matte green, I didnt like that one like I said in the video. But the raspberry and the purples I have used and they are so pretty. There is a tutorial coming up with me using this palette and a bh cosmetics foiled palette together, didnt think it went bad (dont know, you'll have to see haha :P ) And it is hard to blend two colors together, completly, that are not very similar. Better then to add a part of black and softly blend the edges so it doesnt turn muddy. Thank you for your comment, I will try and blend the shades with other mattes more to see if it acts like yours :)

I have most all of these shades in other palettes, so I'm going to skip this release. Plus, I think they reformulated the mattes in the Magic Palette and I don't really like that. The original matte formula they had was perfect, so creamy and blendable. The newer mattes seem more dry, and need to be built up more to get the same pigmentation as the older mattes from Juvia's Place. Great review. You almost convinced me to buy, but I literally just purchased one of their blush palettes, so I'm holding off on purchasing anything else.

Yeah if you already own it and dont need more there is no need of buying it :) I think they are just better at formulating orange and warm tones then they are at formulating other tones when it comes to mattes, I hope that changes :) And thank you :D

Yeah, I feel like that blue-ish teal minty color in this palette is super similar to the color (I think it's called Zola) in the Masquerade palette.

I've bought this palette, 'cause I'd heard so many good things about it. As I have to admit that metallic blue and green are amazing, I also gotta say the mattes are the worst I've ever used. This purple is a joke. It's not even close to pigmented and really patchy. And I've tried so many amazing purples, for example ones from Polish brand Kobo, which cost the equivalent of $1. The rest of the mattes in Zulu are not sticking to one another and their intensity cannot be built. Unfortunately I'm really disappointed with this palette.

Me too! Got this as a gift and literally the worst shadows I've ever tried. I tried the purple with many different primers and brushes and just nothing. I hate when beauty gurus say to use our fingers instead but thats just what I had to do with that purple.

This pallette sucked. I tried many different primers & ways to apply the shadows and the pigment and pay off just sucks. Its super dry it almost feels like chalk, it even swatches horribly.
