Thanks for replying it means a lot just to show that you are one of us into the hobby, not how much you can earn, although a help with the cost is nice. Try Platinum Angel, or a pair, but they are a cichlid so they bring their own challenge but they are slower moving.... Keep on scaping buddy...

What are the fish with orange fins and red on the tail? Gorgeous tank. In your opinion are emperor's aggressive? I want to get some but read they were.

They are white fin Bentosi Tetra, my favourite Tetra. The Emperor's seem fine, the most active of the Tetra's I have but no aggression what i've seen,, love them👍

How did you remove the inner filter? Was it easy and there are any traces of it left?

Quite easy, use a sharp kitchen knife to cut behind and cut through silicone (around 5 blobs of it). Once the housing is out the remaining silicone can easily be removed using a sharp razor blade, you'd never know it was there. Hope this helps👍

What a beautiful tank mate. Really well scaped 👍🏻. I wanted to ask how did you apply the black background (did you use a blade to cut along the top and bottom plastic or does it fit inside those? Also I’m planning an overstocked peacock cichlid tank in my Juwel 240. Would an OASE 850 be too much?

Was it easy to remove the filter box, I'm using the internal filter at the moment but will upgrade to an oase canister once I've saved a abit

Use a large kitchen knife to cut through the 6 silicone blobs. Once the housing is removed use a razor to scrape off the remaining silicone. Finally give a clean (i used white vinegar). Hope this helps👍

Looking superb mate. Quick question, how do you cycle your tanks?

Hi David, thankyou👍this one i didn't, filters had been running for nearly 2 years on a malawi setup. If i was to cycle, i would 50% water change every day for around 2 weeks, 2 or 3 50% water changes week 3 and that's when I would add Amano shrimp, nerite snails. Add other livestock around week 4 sometimes earlier if i've used Seachem Stability whis is great when starting a new setup. Hope this helps, maybe cover this topic in a future video👍

Ciao ho un acquario da 240lt juwel con pompa da 600lt ora originale conviene mettere pompa più grande da 100lt ora poi lo schiumatoio a che serve in acquario

Is the light unit you have now better than the standard Juwel Multilux light that come with this tank?

I prefer the full RGB spectrum of these lights but the Juwel ones are fine still.
