There is so much benefits in these videos. I hope these timestamps are helpful for those revisiting these videos or stopping and starting. I hope it can make them more approachable. (this is my first time sitting down and doing this, I apologise for any mistakes) I will also try to add a short line about the ayah, to do with the topic or something important the Ustadh shared. Still, a reminder, there is more benefit in listening than in the notes below. I hope this is ok for me to do, please admin let me know if you would like me to take anything down. 46:00 beginning of Surah Al-Anbiya - Makki surah 46:33 - ayah 2 47:03 - ayah 3 48:40 - ayah 4 49:30 - ayah 5 50:35 - ayah 6 51:04 - ayah 7 51:29 - ayah 8 - prophets 'alaihimmussalaam were regular humans, not like angels 52:45 - ayah 9 53:06 - ayah 10 54:33 - pg 323, ayah 11 55:02 - ayah 12 55:20 - ayah 13 56:59 - ayah 14 57:09 - ayah 15 - not tawbah - confession. 58:13 ayah 16- nothing is created randomly or for play. Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala created everything with a purpose 58:57 - ayah 17 1:00:15 ayah 18 - the truth is *hurled* (naqthifu) at the falsehood (that Allah created this world for play/no purpose/all "just random"). 1:00:55 - ayah 19 1:01:16 - ayah 20 1:01:26 ayah 21 - showing "ruboobiyah as evidence for uloohiyyah". They dont have the aspect of lordship then they don't deserve worship. If someone ask you "why do you worship Allah" - answer is the 1st 3 ayahs of Fatiha - shows the ruboobiyah of Allah. 1:02:43 - ayah 22 1:05:29 ayah 23 - very important to understand and remember: no one will ask Allah about His actions. The slave does not ask the master. 1:06:32 ayah 24 1:07:33 - page 324 ayah 25 - tafsir of "laa ilaaha IllAllah" again 1:08:27 - ayah 26 1:09:05 - ayah 27 - referring to angels, but could also be about the prophets 'alaihimmussalaam. 1:09:48 - ayah 28 1:10:11 - ayah 29 1:10:54 - ayah 30 - Quran is a book of guidance, not a physics textbook. The Quran doesn't invalidate the concept of the big bang, but it is not proof for it either. We should say "it seems to indicate something like that" but Allah 'azzawajal knows best how the Earth and the Heavens were created. 1:14:44 - ayah 31 - As-Si'di's view on the above topic is that it is referring to the sky splitting with rain, and the earth splitting with growth of plant. Nothing to do with Big Bang. and Allah knows best. 1:18:09 - ayah 32 1:22:19 - ayah 33 - If your children are asked to learn about something that goes again the Quran, that is shirk like Darwin's theory of evolution. Teach them to write "according to Darwin's theory" in their answers. 1:25:08 - ayah 34 1:16:04 - ayah 35 - emphasis that not just the bad experiences are tests. The good times are also tests. The bad is a test of patience. The good is a test of Gratitude. 1:27:14 - page 325 ayah 36 1:28:42 - ayah 37 - Haste, mentioned it previously in Surah Al-Israa 1:29:34 - ayah 38 1:29:54 - ayah 39 1:30:46 - ayah 40 1:31:20 - ayah 41 1:31:43 - ayah 42 - Like in Surah Maryam, punishment is mentioned along with the name of Allah "Ar-Rahman", saying that there is still time to go back in repentance to The Most Merciful 1:32:45 - ayah 43 - it is not a condition of shirk that you believe something else *can prevent Allah, even if only sometimes*. Many evidences that a single duah to other than Allah is shirk, doesn't matter if you think what/whoever you are asking is able to stop Allah or not. 1:42:57 - ayah 44 - spoken about in surah Ar-Ra'd 1:44:26 - Page 326 ayah 45 1:44:28 - ayah 46 1:45:25 - ayah 47 - spoken about in the begging of Surah Al-A’raaf - the scales of justice 1:46:39 - ayah 48 - “criterion” that which distinguishes between truth and falsehood. 1:47:09 - ayah 49 - “unseen” has 2 meanings here. They fear their Lord… 1. …when other people can’t see them (in private) - that is Taqwa. 2. ..even though they can’t see Him - that is Ihsan. 1:48:10 - ayah 50 - “unacquainted” - refusing to accept/acknowlege it. 1:48:29 - ayah 51 1:48:46 - ayah 52 - the mentions of the idols is first in surah Al-An’aam. The story of Ibrahim is also mentioned in surah Taha and Surah Maryam. 1:49:42 - ayah 53 1:49:51 - ayah 54 1:50:06 - ayah 55 1:50:21 - ayah 56 1:51:08 - ayah 57 - this is Ibrahim ‘alaihissalam as a young man, he is saying this to himself. 1:52:02 - page 327 ayah 58 1:52:27 - ayah 59 1:52:47 - ayah 60 1:53:07 - ayah 61 - testify to his trial or witness his punishment 1:53:26 - ayah 62 1:53:38 - ayah 63 1:54:09 - ayah 64 - Realised for a moment their foolishness Points frpm Tafsir Sa’di related to Ibrahim ‘alaihissalaam saying “the big one did it” - He ‘alaihissalaam implying the big one wanted to be worshipped alone, also shows he is not being serious by saying “ask them if they can speak”. 1:54:46 - ayah 65 - pride took over and they went back on their words 1:54:48 - ayah 66 1:57:05 - ayah 67 1:57:25 - ayah 68 1:57:56 - ayah 69 1:58:19 - ayah 70 1:58:33 - ayah 71 - Loot ‘alaihissalaam was the only person to believe from the people of Ibrahim ‘alaihissalaam. It is said he was his nephew. They were originally from Iraq and together went to As-Shaam (the levant) 1:59:17 - ayah 72 1:59:54 - Page 328 ayah 73 2:00:33 - ayah 74 2:01:01 - ayah 75 - say “action of the people of Loot ‘alaihissalaam 2:01:43 - ayah 76 - duah of Nooh ‘alaihissalaam was “don’t leave any kaafir on Earth” 2:02:24 - ayah 77

May Allaah preserve the Eemaan of ustadh and AMAU team for such effort and grant us the strength to memorise and understand Quran before death .
Assalaamu Alaikum warahmatullah Jazaakum Allahu khair for all your efforts. Please I have a question regarding qunoot Al witr. What is the ruling on raising the hands during qunoot while you are standing behind the imam in Taraweeh?
