I have watched hundreds of guitar "instructors" and dozens of harmonica instructors over the years, but I swear your talent and your ability to clearly explain is unequaled. The way you teach simple concepts and incrementally build them into amazing music is almost magic. It is clear that you love both playing and teaching. What incredible talent! THANK YOU!!!!

Only just started learning at 65, when you said about relating timing to walking I found I was listening to all other sounds around me and relating those to the sound of harmonica, a lot actually work, I found your video's much easier to understand that others that just say do this but not how.

Hi Juzzie, I'm an old dude that is attempting to learn how to play the harmonica and have been seriously having fun with it over the past four months or so. A lot of the online lessons have been a bit involved -- not that it is a bad thing, overall. I wish to take this opportunity to thank you for sharing your relaxed methods and flowing jams that give me a chance to unwind and play along ... adding some of my own "feel" to the mix is the most important important aspect of why I'm here. Cheers! John in So. Cal. USA

Hi Juzzie, this is fabulous (as always). I've got a handle on the harmonica part, but would really like to be able to add in some simple guitar at the same time. I am even more of a novice in guitar, I recognise and can play parts of the G and C chords in the first example, but when you start going up the neck of the guitar I'm getting a bit lost and can't quite work out which notes you are playing at the start of the bar. I know I will be able to work it out eventually, but its going to take time. Next time you do one of these, could you include some tab for the guitar bits or just mention what notes you are playing? And maybe something on chuka chucks some time in the future? Joel's tutorials are great, but I would love to see something delivered in your style.
