⭐ JVC DLA-NP5 and JVC DLA-NZ7 D-ILA projector reviews - Perfect, projected images?

Attempting to recreate the cinema experience with projected images at home is the goal of many movie and home cinema fans, so we take a look at two projectors from JVC that go about achieving this using different light sources.
The DLP-NP5 is bulb-based and the DLA-NZ7 is laser-based and while neither is cheap, the NP5 is getting on for about half the cost of the laser model. Phil has put them both through their paces and looks how the two projectors differ and, more importantly, where they come very close to each other too.

How does the NP5 compare to the X7900? (Light controles room with dark walls, white ceiling and 120” 1.3 gain high contrast screen).

Laser offers piece of mind too, no brightnes drop and recalibration every 200 hours.
