export video to your computer, use video software to use the avhcd format and save as mpg2 with 1080x720 resolution. youtube automatically detects resolution setting and allows HD if capable.

I just won a semi new one from ebay, once I get it with in three days and I test video it, I'll let you know. Right now I only own an Aiptek GVS camcorder that I have to my mom, but I can't wait to test this one.

No, minimum cameras neede for that are going to be 3ccd (cmos) full hd Cameras like the Sony HDR-FX1 3-CCD HDV. even non HD 3ccd like the Canon GL1 or GL2, those you can get used in the 1000$ range. This is a good quality camera for the price, but no manual options it's just good for school projects and what not.

When ever you upload a video with a resolution of 720p and higher, youtube will create a standard definition of you video and it takes a couple of minutes to make your HD video, in other words, you don't need to do anything, youtube will do it for your. Just keep an eye on your video download and you should be able to see that the HD button will be available.

@thaguy Its just a standard Kingston 2 GB SD card, not HC so no class rating. I'm surprised it worked since everyone says you need a fast card to record HD but this proves you don't. =-)

I dont own it, I just tried it out at the store. My pc wouldnt play it right so I uploaded it here. I suggest you do the same, take a emty SD card and go try them at the store then buy online =-)

how the heck can you get this in HD? when i upload it on my computer and export it using the JVC software into itunes, it only comes out as a 320 x 240 !! how can i get it to a 1080i ?

hi,what is config of our camera. my zoom works very slowly for make focus. in our video zoom and focus are pretty good.

The included software is pretty useless. I've been using iMovie and Final Cut for maximum quality.
