Previous corrosion from the batteries killed the play button. It happened to me twice on a toshiba SE R0323 And a panasonic VSQS1370.

These JVC combo units always gave me problems.The remotes were made cheesy and half the time , my buttons never worked on the JVC remote.The machine would shut down on its own from time to time.Id stay away from any JVC vcr machines.To be honest , the JVC vcrs always gave me problems.The JVC vcr machines , like this one , would love to eat vhs tapes for breakfast.Every time i come across a model like this , i pass ! 👍🏻🙂 Sad but JVC made better auto reverse tape decks in the 2000 s.Sad but true in my opinion.

Is that so? I have a funai made magnavox and toshiba hdmi dvd vcr recorder combo and they both work 100%
