Hi Juan Thanks for your video. The hard reset option worked for me after I did it for 7-8 times. I really did lose hope after the 5th try but glad I persisted on. Saved me buying a new TV.

Thank you for sharing this info. We bought our JVC tv mid 2019, when we switched it on this morning we got a blank screen but we still had sound. I performed all the things that you mentioned but with zero results. But after the 3rd attempt with the hard reset BINGO. Now everything is up and running.

@@jonnylawrence7766 I’d just the picture go off again, but the sound is always ok. I had to do another hard reset. What bugs me is that the tv is quite new, and only my wife uses it on a evening. So it gets very little use?

Hi. I did the rest only once and it worked. Thank you for making the video. When I bought the TV I was told that it wasn't reliable especially if you want to stream with it. But I'm glad it faulted now so I can start budgeting for a new one

@@emilyx2326 Hey Emily X, we almost threw out our TV after trying all of these.... But after doing the Hard Reset several times on a different day just before getting ready to look for a new tv, suddenly it worked! Maybe I wasn't holding the power button in properly, or let go at the wrong time? I don't know. But it's been working flawlessly for 4 months now. Give it a few more tries with the hard reset and see if it works?

Hello, initially the fifth method worked for me and my telly came on but only briefly before conking out again, and then what’s happening is the power on light is coming on but when I turn it on it’s just a black screen. Is it worth trying to fix or shall I just Chuck it in the bin? Any advice would be appreciated xx

Ah man sorry to hear. I think its a sign that you might want to go ahead and replace it. Go with a Samsung, Sony, or LG. They tend to last longer.

Yup pulled the power lead out of the rear of TV. Just over 1 minute waiting then plugged lead back and it re booted itself

Bought my 32” JVC LCD tv screen in 2007 on sale for $800 at sams club as a kid with my hard earned money. It just started doing this. Kinda sad because none of these solutions worked. Don’t want to say goodbye to my old pal that i watched all kinds of good shows on. I thought id get a good 20 years+ out of this Japanese brand tv, because all of our old Japanese tube tvs worked when we had to get rid of them and they were far older than this one.
